Celebrity Big Brother fans blast Angellica Bell for ‘faking her emotions’ as ‘guilt hits’ after nomination results

Celebrity Big Brother viewers have accused Angellica Bell of ‘faking her emotions’ after she became tearful following the latest round of nominations.

During Thursday evening’s instalment of the hit ITV reality show, the housemates were asked to nominate two celebrities each for the next eviction.

One by one, the housemates headed to the Diary Room to share their nominations with Big Brother.

It was later revealed that actress Patsy Palmer, 52, and former Olympian Daley Thompson, 66, would be facing the public vote on Friday evening.

However, shortly after the results were revealed, Angellica, 49, was seen shedding tears – despite having nominated both Patsy and Daley herself.

When fellow housemates checked in on her, Angellica said: ‘Just know, everyone, it’s really emotional for me as well. Just that I love you all. I’m going to have a shower, it’s quite stressful isn’t it.’

‘Bless you Angellica,’ someone said as she started walking away, while Patsy said: ‘Honestly, don’t be stressed because I’m fine with it.’

Daley added: ‘It’s a game, it’s fine,’ after Angellica had already left the room. as Patsy added: ‘Everyone’s got to go, we’re not just in there saying nothing are we?’

However, fans flocked to X, formerly Twitter, to call out the apparent contradiction between Angellica’s emotional reaction and her nomination choices.

One viewer wrote: ‘Both of Angellica’s nominee’s facing eviction- the guilt hit her then.’; ‘Angellica showing love but nominated Patsy W**?’;

‘Angellica you voted for Patsy, don’t be two faced dorlin.’ With someone else pointing out that she voted Daley too.

While another fan simply joked: ‘Angellica and Patsy were besties on launch night and now they’re starting to despise each other lollll.’

But Angellica wasn’t the only housemate under fire. Viewers also accused Ella Rae Wise, 24, of using a cunning tactic to win over fans during the same episode.

Following the nomination results, Ella also burst into tears, claiming she was upset for the others – not herself.

However, many viewers took to X (formerly Twitter) to accuse her of ‘turning on the waterworks’ for the cameras in an attempt to gain more screentime.

One wrote: ‘Ella crying for screen time lol #CBBUK #CBB.’; ‘Does Ella go a day without crying? #cbb’;

‘Ella wondering why she cry’s finding out who’s up for eviction….. want to know why? Air time #CBBUK #cbb.’; ‘CAN ELLA NOT CRY FOR ONE DAY! Didn’t she nominate Patsy anyway? #CBB #CBBUK’

It comes after Celebrity Big Brother revealed that Daley and Patsy will be the next housemates to face the public vote ahead of Friday evening’s live eviction.

During Thursday’s episode, viewers saw Daley and Patsy receive the most nominations from their fellow housemates.

But Angellica wasn't the only housemate under fire. Viewers also accused Ella Rae Wise, 24, of using a cunning tactic to win over fans during the same episode (Ella left, JoJo Siwa right)

Meanwhile, Patsy received five nominations from Angellica, Chris, Danny, Ella, and JoJo.

Voting for this week’s eviction is now open exclusively via the Big Brother app, with viewers asked to vote for the housemate they want to save from eviction.
