CELEBRITY Ex On The Beach’s Helen Flanagan has revealed she was threatened with police after a hotel row and bust-up with staff.
The former Coronation Street actress, 35, didn’t hold back when she told fans all about her run-in at a Travelodge.
Helen is currently on a theatre tour with her Easter pantomime, Mother Goose.
However, the actress revealed how she had slept in past her checkout time at a local Travelodge and she was told she had to leave immediately – otherwise the police were going to be called.
Telling the story on Instagram, Helen told fans: “Right, cut a long story short. Basically, on this day to talk, we’re staying in this Travelodges. Fine.
“Anyway, I got woke up this morning.
“I’m due my period and I’ve not been sleeping properly.
“So I basically went to bed at half one, woke up at twelve. I literally woke up to this woman at twelve o’clock banging on my door.
“Told me to ‘open the door’. I said, ‘oh hi, sorry.’
” She was like, ‘yeah, check-out, it’s at twelve.
“And I said, ‘oh sorry, I didn’t know.’
“I said, ‘I’ll just have a quick shower and go.’
“She said, ‘no, you can’t have a quick shower. So you need to get out now before I ring the police.’”
In response to Helen’s accusation, A Travelodge spokesperson told The Sun:
‘We are sorry to hear that Helen was disappointed with her stay.
“We have reached out to her directly and are speaking with the hotel team to understand what happened on this occasion.”
Meanwhile, Helen is currently starring on Celebrity Ex On The Beach.
The actress is the most famous name on the cast for the fourth series of the hit MTV show.
The Sun revealed in November that the star had signed up for the notoriously raunchy show after her split from boyfriend Robbie Talbot, 46.
However, Helen exclusively revealed to The Sun how she issued show bosses with an ultimatum ahead of signing up to the show.
Mum-of-three Helen insisted on having her own bed on the programme at all times and was adamant she didn’t want to be seen in bed with another man.
The actress told The Sun she felt it was important to set this boundary as a result of being a mum and having her kids watch the show with her.
She said: “My thing is, it that being a mum I just knew I didn’t want to share a bed with anyone.
“It did make me feel like the Queen.
“I was the only one on the cast who made sure beforehand that I definately had a bed to myself.
“It was quite hilarious!”
Celebrity Ex On The Beach is streaming exclusively on Paramount+ from March 31.
