COPS have released CCTV after a man was allegedly sexually assaulted by another man while on board a London-bound train.
The man was on a service from Staines to Clapham Junction on New Year’s Eve in South West London.
British Transport Police said as the man walked down the aisle of the train, he was sexually assaulted by a man sat down.
The force has now released an image of a man in connection to the incident which occurred at around 7.45pm on Wednesday, December 31.
A spokesperson for BTP said: “Officers would like to speak to the man pictured, as they believe he may have information that could help their investigation.
“Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 266 of 1 January.
“You can also contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
