CHANNEL 4 is shaking up its late-night line-up and moving a new adventure reality series to a later time slot.
Taking over the epic challenge show’s 9pm spot will be much-loved classics, including repeats of Grand Designs and 24 Hours in A&E.
But fans of The Hunt: Prey vs Predator need not be alarmed.
The popular show is moving to a later time-slot of 10pm.
While the show will keep its 9pm slot this coming Sunday, viewers can expect a change for the rest of the week.
The later scheduling will likely suit a more dedicated late-night audience for the show’s ‘brutal’ format.
TV Zone reported: “Channel 4 have pushed #TheHunt back to 10pm.
“The show will remain at 9pm this Sunday, but will be replaced by repeats of 24 Hours In A&E and Grand Designs at 9pm for the rest of its run.”
The Hunt: Prey Vs Predator has been described as the ‘real life Hunger Games’ and sees 10 contestants battle it out for a £100,000 prize.
In a vast, remote forest, the players are pitted against each other as Prey versus Predator.
They must battle to survive action-packed hunts, in which the prey must hunt for cash, while the predators hunt the prey, until just one could be left standing to claim the entire cash prize.
With no host of the show, tracking equipment follows competitors dropped into a forest for “the ultimate real-world game of hide and seek”.
The channel previously teased: “Popularity, plotting, power plays, loyalty and friendship will all come into play and will, in fact, be crucial – as victory will depend not just on stealth in the wild, but skill as a social animal.”
Eliminated father-of-six Nathan, 33, revealed he spent three months in hospital after suffering SEVENTEEN seizures which left him paralysed.
Nathan was the first person to be eliminated from the show and he’s told how, just a week after filming his scenes, he was rushed to hospital in life-changing circumstances.
He has been diagnosed with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND), a condition that can cause seizures and physical weakness.
Having previously worked in the military, he is now a dentist and runs a casting agency and two drama schools.
Viewers were also left shocked to discover he is a VERY young grandad.
The series premiered on Sunday 22 March with an audience of 350,000 viewers.
