Brooklyn Beckham shared VERY telling advice for sister Harper, 13, before family feud was exposed – as brother Cruz now appears to make a veiled dig at his sibling after he pledged his loyalty to wife Nicola Peltz

His choice of wife appears to have caused a devastating family feud that seems almost irreparable.

But when asked what his advice would be to his only sister Harper Seven, 13, Brooklyn Beckham said: ‘Find that one thing that you love and don’t listen to anyone.’

David, 50, and Victoria, 51, are involved in a bitter fallout with their eldest son, 26, and it is understood his wife Nicola Peltz, daughter of an American billionaire, is at the heart of it.

The feud had been kept secret by the Beckhams for months and in what was his last interview before the bitter family rift surfaced, Brooklyn shared advice he gave Harper about growing up in the spotlight.

Speaking ahead of his race for Formula E in March, Brooklyn told the Mail: ‘I just tell her, find that one thing that you love and just put your head down, don’t listen to anyone.’

It comes as Brooklyn issued a clear message to his family that he was siding with Nicola, 30, who he calls the love of his life, by sharing a gushing Instagram post to his wife of three years.

The aspiring chef wrote: ‘I always choose you baby, you’re the most amazing person in the world, me and you forever baby.’

Hours after the post, Cruz, the Beckhams’ youngest son waded in on the row for the first time by writing an Instagram post in support of his parents, showing he does not side with Brooklyn.

The 20-year-old aspiring musician penned: ‘I love my family. I love you guys more than anything, mum and dad you gave us life and cared for us no matter what, I cannot tell you how blessed we are to have you in our lives.’

David and Victoria have resigned to the fact that they have become estranged from their beloved son after he failed to attend any of the football ace’s 50th birthday celebrations last month.

Despite flying to London, Brooklyn and Nicola didn’t attend the big family party at the Beckhams’ Cotswolds home or an idyllic trip to France or a meal at Notting Hill restaurant, Core.

Earlier this week, there was further proof of the irreparable nature of the rift when Brooklyn and Nicola jetted to the capital from their home in Los Angeles on Monday for a joint photoshoot with Italian luxury fashion brand Moncler.

It took place less than two miles away from the Beckham family home in Holland Park, west London. Brooklyn didn’t even tell David and Victoria they were in the country – let alone meet with them.

It will no doubt be heartbreaking for the Beckhams’ youngest child with speculation as to whether her eldest brother will attend her 14th birthday celebrations.

It comes after Victoria and husband David made yet another attempt to extend an olive branch to their son Brooklyn on Thursday evening as they attended the TIME100 Impact Dinner in New York City.

Putting on a united front at the event the couple displayed a family photo taken at Victoria’s 50th last year which included all four of their children.

It captured a moment reminiscent of happier times for the family, prior to their ongoing feud with their eldest son and his wife Nicola.

While Brooklyn was present at the former Spice Girl’s big birthday last year, both he and his wife failed to make an appearance at her 51st or at David’s 50th earlier this month.

And while his other brothers Romeo, 22, and Cruz took to social media to pay their birthday tributes to their parents, on both occasions Brooklyn stayed silent.

Earlier this week David was named on the Time100 Philanthropy list as he was recognised for his decades of advocacy and philanthropy, particularly through his work with UNICEF.

And while David and Victoria are understood to be devastated following the fall-out with Brooklyn, as revealed by The Daily Mail’s Katie Hind, the pair put on a united front at the event.

The Spice Girls alum cut an elegant figure in a sharp black tuxedo jacket and pants, paired with a white button up underneath.

Meanwhile David looked handsome as ever in a black suit and tie as they posed with NBA star Stephen Curry, 37, and his wife Ayesha Curry, 36.

However Thursday’s event isn’t the first time the couple have attempted to offer an olive branch to Brooklyn after Victoria took to Instagram last Monday to share a group photo of their four children alongside her father, Tony Adams – who celebrated his birthday over the weekend.

Captioning the post with the accompanying message: ‘We both love you all so much!’, the undated photo also features Victoria’s mother Jackie, flanked by Brooklyn and his siblings Romeo, Cruz, and Harper, 13.

David is allegedly ‘desperate to make amends with his son as he fears history is repeating itself’ following his bitter fall out with his father Ted in 2005.

In the latest evidence of this, David included Brooklyn in a post about Mother’s Day in the U.S. as he dedicated a post to the mother of his children, Victoria.

A sweet black and white photo showed Victoria cuddled up with her four kids, soon after welcoming their daughter Harper.

Alongside the photo, David wrote: ‘Happy Mother’s Day to the best mommy. To all our friends in the U.S. Happy Mother’s Day.’

Meanwhile, Victoria shared a photograph of a beautiful bouquet of flowers she had been sent by Cruz and his girlfriend Jackie Apostel, 29.

While David and his dad Ted, 77, now share a close-knit relationship, the father-son duo were once not even on speaking terms.

After Ted suffered a near-death health scare in 2007, it sparked the pair to make amends and get back in touch – and they have been close ever since.

And now David is reportedly worried ‘history is repeating itself’ amid his rift with his eldest son Brooklyn.
