Brits horrified as an American shares her jacket potato toppings, including yoghurt – after she judges UK favourites

AN AMERICAN woman has come under fire after sharing her bizarre jacket potato toppings, such as yoghurt.

It’s a firm British classic that’s quick and easy to whip up in minutes – jacket potato.

Whether you top it off with a hearty chunk of butter and cheese, baked beans, or chili con carne, it’s a cheap dish you can never go wrong with.

But now one foodie, Kalli Agudo, has left Brits horrified after proudly showing off her take on the cult classic, which they dubbed ”a war crime”.

Sharing the shocking choice of toppings on TikTok, Kalli, from Washington, the US, admitted she judged ”the British people for what they put on potatoes”.

To start off the dinner, Kalli went in with a generous dose of shredded Mexican cheese, a spoonful of non-fat Greek yoghurt, as a ”lower calorie” alternative to sour cream.

”And it makes it a little bit more liquidy,” she said in the now-viral video.

”I kinda wanna put butter on today – but I’m not going to because it’s not good for me.”

Next up in the ”Mexican”-style jacket potato was diced raw onion, as well as picked jalapeno and a squirt of mayonnaise.

”Last up, the most important ingredient for any baked potato […] – Tajin.

The special ingredient – which the foodie has been using for ”a really long time” – is versatile spice blend combining mild chilli peppers, lime, and sea salt.

All chuffed with her recipe, Kalli said: ”Boom, that is how a jacket is made in my household in America – and probably no one else’s because it’s kinda disgusting.”

Unfortunately for her, the latter part wasn’t wrong, as more than 3,000 people flooded to comments in sheer horror.

One viewer said: ”You’re putting yoghurt on a jacket potato and you’re judging us Brits?”

Someone else agreed, commenting: ”Girl I’m no longer judging the brits. All eyes on you.”

”That isn’t a jacket potato, that’s a war crime,” someone else was shocked by the recipe.

”*gasps in horror in british* what the…..” a fourth was lost for words.

”As an American, you are not allowed to judge British people for what they put on their baked potatoes….Greek yogurt and MAYONNAISE is a diabolical combination,” a fellow US viewer said.

Or you can choose your own tried-and-tested favourite Subway filling – think, Marinara Sauce, Veggie Delite or Steak and Cheese.

The new Spudway potato can be bought on its own, or as part of a meal deal – which includes a spud, drink, plus crisps or cookie.
