SHOPPERS are going wild for a cosy buy designed to keep you warm in the autumn and winter months.
As the colder season is fast-approaching, millions of cash-strapped Brits are looking for affordable ways to stay toasty without relying on heating.
Luckily, one major store has come to rescue with the ultimate buy – and it’s currently going for spare change.
According to one thrifty woman, Victoria Molyneux, B&M has slashed the price of their cult favourite Snuggle Hoodie – and a similar buy goes for £25 elsewhere.
Many have heard of the famous snuggle essential – an Oodie.
An Oodie is a wearable hooded blanket made from high-quality, cruelty-free material, with soft flannel fleece on the outside and warm sherpa fleece on the inside.
But if you can’t afford to splash the cash on an Oodie, you’ll want to plan a trip to the local B&M, as they are selling their very own version for just 10p.
The Snuggle Hoodies come in a range of different colours and sizes and are perfect for cosying up on the sofa.
According to Victoria’s post, uploaded on the popular Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, the Snuggle Hoodies are for kids from the ages of three to 13.
However, if you’re on the more petite size – or don’t want your hoodie to be too oversized – you could easily squeeze into the teenager version.
Victoria spotted that the smaller size – for ages three to four – was slashed from £10 to a mere 10p.
Meanwhile, the bigger sizes – seven to ten and 11 to 13 – were originally going for £12 before the epic price reductions.
Showing off her haul, the thrifty shopper said: ”10p Each B&M. Will donate at Christmas.”
She went on in the comments: ”This was my local one Northwich.
”I never usually see them now. Thought I was seeing things when I walked past the 10p tickets on shelf.”
The news, shared just one day ago, has already taken the internet by storm, amassing close to 700 likes.
More than 270 people flooded to comments to tag their friends and family, as others shared their thoughts.
One person said: ”It baffles me how people get these bargains lol, I never seen anything like this in our B&M.”
Someone else praised Victoria, writing: ”Wow great deal, and how lively of you to donate them as well. need more out there like you, great bargain.”
”I thought getting mine for £1 was a bargain! Well done you!” a third chimed in.
How does thermal clothing keep you warm?
Thermal clothing keeps you warm by trapping air near your body and preventing heat loss.
It’s made from materials like polyester, merino wool, fleece, or down that are good at insulating and wicking away moisture.
Trapping air
The fabric creates a layer of insulation by trapping air, which is a poor conductor of heat. This prevents heat from escaping through conduction, convection, and radiation.
Wicking away moisture
Thermal clothing is breathable and absorbs sweat from your skin, which helps prevent you from getting damp and cold.
Regulating body temperature
Thermal clothing keeps you warm in cold weather, but it’s also breathable enough to prevent overheating during physical activity.
Design features
Some thermal clothing has panels or zones that provide extra warmth to areas like your chest, back, and knees
