Britney Spears did little to allay fan concerns when she posted a risqué photo to her Instagram on Saturday night.
The 43-year-old former pop superstar posted a photo of herself in the nude and shot from behind.
Spears wore nothing but a pair of tall black high-heeled boots, and she raised her arms up above her head while letting her long blond hair drape down over her slim figure.
Despite being in the buff, she partially censored the photo with a red rose emoji pasted over her backside.
Spears posted the revealing photo after stoking worry from her fans earlier this week by sharing a video shot in her mansion that appeared to show it in a disturbing state of clutter.
She left her latest post without a caption, and fans weren’t able to share their thoughts after Spears turned off comments on her posts.

Earlier on Saturday, the Stronger singer posted multiple videos of herself posing in a green bikini and in a pale-pink one-piece swimsuit as she enjoyed time out on the water while vacationing.
One of the clips reprised part of an earlier video showing her dancing in her bikini to Manon Dave’s remix of Timbaland’s song Carry Out, which featured her ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake on guest vocals.
The video featuring her pink swimsuit included a bizarre caption from the hitmaker that appeared to describe an experience with food poisoning.
‘Something I wish someone would have told me before the boat that day NEVER eat meat in heat that hot even tiny slider bun … I got so sick,’ she wrote. ‘I never eat steak n meat cus I get sick, it’s horrible. I wasn’t expecting a small one would ever make feel that sick, thought I was gonna have to go to the hospital.’
On Monday, the singer–songwriter showed that, while she may be done with the music business, she isn’t completely done with singing, as she gave an off-key performance of Prince’s classic tune Kiss in an Instagram video.
But the clip concerned left many of her 41.8 million followers concerned because of the disheveled state of her mansion.
Clutter could be seen in the spacious living room behind her, and toward the end of the clip one of Spears’ dogs walked behind her.
In the caption, the singer wrote to her fans: ‘I would say, Julia Roberts singing Prince’s “Kiss” off key a touch, but I sounded really good behind the lens lol!!!
‘PSS Wise a**es, I do know who I am !!!’ she added, referencing to the lyrics she had been singing.
‘I have eight different languages written on my neck … these are my pjs, but I put these boots on to play with lighting … not the most elegant look but hey!!!’

Britney also belted out some more vocals for her followers as she adjusted the camera and lighting.
‘Messing around with lighting and cleaning my house like no tomorrow,’ the star wrote in the caption.
Britney rarely sings in her social media clips, and instead will showcase her dance moves.
Most recently, the Toxic songstress donned a very revealing gold minidress that had a large cutout around the bust area in a reel shared last week.
But as she moved in front of the camera, the star suffered numerous nip slips – but made sure to add flower emojis for coverage.
It comes not long after Britney’s ex Sam Asghari took a swipe at the star’s ex-husband Kevin Federline as he prepares to release a tell-all memoir titled You Thought You Knew.
The Gimme More hitmaker was previously married to Sam from 2022 until their divorce was finalized last year. In December 2024, the pop singer was declared legally single.

Britney also tied the knot with Kevin in 2004 until their split in 2007. The former couple are parents to sons Sean Preston, 19, and Jayden, 18.
While out in Los Angeles earlier this month, Sam shared his thoughts about Kevin’s book while talking to TMZ.
‘Well, he was a professional father so he would be a great… it would be the first book that’ll tell you how to be a professional father.’
The actor was possibly making a reference to the child support payments Kevin had been receiving from Britney for their two sons – which officially ended in November 2024 when Jayden turned 18.
Sam has previously voiced support for Britney, such as earlier this year in January when he reflected on the ‘darker side of Hollywood.’
While talking to Page Six, he said: ‘You have to be careful in every industry. Not just in Hollywood. You have to always be careful and protect yourself and protect the people that you love.’
In regard to his ex-wife, the star added, ‘I just wish her the best. I think that the number one factor of a partner is to be there for one another, no matter what.
‘There’s never ever a need to take advantage of anybody. We all go through this life and we go through different chapters and you meet people along the way and they are a big part of your life.’
