A POPULAR British beauty brand has just been saved from administration after collapsing earlier this month.
They entered administration on March 6 due to facing “financial difficulties” and shut down their website as they prepared to cease operations for good.

Beauty Bay sells more than 200 different brands of beauty, skincare and cosmetic products to customers across the UK.
A French-owned company called AA Investments Group bought them for an undisclosed amount, securing both the stores as well as countless people’s jobs.
Speaking on the sale, administrator Rick Harrison said: “Since its inception in 1999, Beauty Bay has grown to become one of the UK’s leading online beauty retailers, selling well-known cosmetics and cult brands to over five million customers.
“We are pleased to have concluded this transaction, which will see the brand continue under new ownership, and wish everyone connected with the business all the best for the future.”
Arron and David Gabbie, founders of Beauty Bay, released a joint statement of their own, thanking customers for all the support over the years.
They said: “We would like to say a huge thank you to our brilliant team who have helped to make Beauty Bay everything that it is today.
“Their commitment and support over the last 27 years have been unwavering, no more so than over these past few weeks.”
In the meantime, products are not currently available to purchase from Beauty Bay’s website.
It isn’t up and running again, so customers will instead be met with a message reading: “We’ll Be Back Soon. BEAUTY BAY is offline right now. We’ll be back shortly.”
Some of the well-known brands sold by Beauty Bay include Anastasia Beverly Hills, MAC and Clinique.
