BRITAIN’S best car brand has been revealed by experts after beating rivals Range Rover, Nissan and Audi.
Drivers and motor enthusiasts are raving about the relatively new company, which launched in 2023.
Despite only selling one model, it has “taken the market by storm”, according to experts.
It has seen Jaecoo voted Brand of the Year in the 2026 Carwow Car of the Year Awards.
It’s the sister brand to another Chinese newcomer, Omoda, and uses similar technology but boasts a sleeker aesthetic.
The name Jaecoo comes from combining the German word Jäger, which means hunter, and the English word cool.
The Jaecoo 7 SUV, which starts at under £30,000, is a hybrid which comes with petrol and plug-in.
Meanwhile at the top of the range buyers can expect to fork out just over £35,000.
Jaecoo is owned by Chinese car giant Chery and is based in the Chinese city of Wuhu.
Mat Watson, Car Review Expert, told Car Wow: “Jaecoo feels like it’s been selling cars in the UK for no more than five minutes, yet it’s taken the market by storm.
“It’s already nipping at the heels of the best-sellers and the Jaecoo 7 SUV has topped enquiries charts on the Carwow website.
“No wonder – Jaecoo cars look cool, pack loads of standard equipment and yet cost far less than alternatives from European, Japanese or Korean brands.”
