British TV legend David Tennant and his actress wife Georgia complete the all-star line-up for Celebrity Gogglebox.
The star of everything from Doctor Who through to Rivals and Harry Potter is gracing the sofa for the first time as part of tonight’s Channel 4 Stand Up 2 Cancer special.
Georgia is also best known for appearing on Doctor Who – where the pair met.
And it looks like they’re a cheeky duo, with a preview reel showing Georgia mocking David for not understanding social media.
The Tennants join Celebrity Traitors best pals Joe Marler and Nick Mohammed plus Hollywood stars Josh Harnett and his wife Tamsin Egerton, and Keiran Culkin and his wife Jazz Charlton as new names on the star-spangled line-up.
Clearly not over Nick’s Traitors’ deceit, Joe Marler said: “When they told me I’d be doing Celebrity Gogglebox with Nick for Stand Up To Cancer, I felt it would be a great opportunity to finally stare him in the eye and ask why he gleefully betrayed me on national television.
“But honestly, I wouldn’t want to do it with anyone else.
“We had a mad old time on The Traitors, and somehow came out of it as actual mates… though I’ll be keeping one eye on him at all times, just in case.”
Ted Lasso star Nick concurred. “When Gogglebox asked if I’d do their Stand Up To Cancer special with Joe Marler, I thought, ‘Great – finally an opportunity for him to apologise for making me believe he was a traitor.’
Joe still texts me about it every 20 minutes, so sitting on a sofa together, unnaturally close, felt like the safest way to rebuild our trust.”
