BRISTOL ROVERS have sacked manager Darrell Clarke after their 3-0 loss at home to Swindon Town.
Rovers have suffered a woeful season and the club have decided to act after losing TEN straight games in League Two.

The team are second from bottom in the League Two table and are in serious danger of exiting the EFL as things stand.
Clarke is cult figure at Rovers after his first stint saw him secure back-to-back promotions from non-league to League One in 2015 and 2016.
And he lasted just seven months the second time around after returning this summer as he picked up just five wins this season.
Rovers confirmed Clarke’s axing with a statement on Saturday afternoon, with former Blackburn and Sunderland star John Stead also leaving his role as assistant manager.
The club said: “Bristol Rovers FC can confirm that Men’s First Team Head Coach Darrell Clarke and Assistant Head Coach Jon Stead have been relieved of their duties.
“The Club would like to place on record our sincere thanks to Darrell and Jon for their hard work and efforts. Darrell’s legacy at the Club is assured and he will always be warmly welcomed at The Memorial Stadium.
“The process to recruit a successor is underway and the Club will be making no further comment at this time.”
Rovers’ rotten run of defeats is the club’s worst losing streak in their history.
Clarke did not appear before the media in the wake of the Swindon loss, with the club’s announcement coming less than four hours after the full time whistle.
