Boy, 16, arrested after ‘exposing himself to women out walking or running’ in popular seaside towns

A TEENAGER has been arrested after a series of eight indecent exposures to women out walking and running.

Between May and December 2025, officers received eight reports of a person flashing women out exercising.

The incidents were said to have happened in Falmouth and Helston, with one taking place in an alleyway behind Falmouth Fire Station.

A 16-year-old local lad has now been arrested on suspicion of being involved and has been released on bail while enquiries continue.

Sector Inspector Rick Milburn said: “We appreciate that these incidents have been causing concern within the communities around Falmouth and Helston.

“Officers have investigated each report leading to a suspect being identified and an arrest being made today by the Falmouth and Helston Police Neighbourhood Team.
