Boots urgently recalls eye cream over ‘skin damage’ risk as shoppers warned ‘stop using it immediately’

BOOTS has urgently recalled an eye cream over a “skin damage” risk, warning shoppers to ‘stop using it immediately’.

The urgent warning applies after tests found the product does not offer the sun protection promised on its label.

Boots and TK Max have pulled the Hello Sunday The One For Your Eyes Mineral Eye Cream SPF50 following quality checks that revealed the SPF level was lower than advertised.

Hello Sunday said it was “voluntarily” recalling the product after further testing raised concerns.

Because the cream may not provide adequate sun protection, customers could face a higher risk of sun-related skin damage.

The retailer has now pulled the product from shelves in stores and online and are urging customers to “stop using it immediately”.
