Fans of Prime Video’s Last One Laughing haven’t got long to wait until until the hit comedy series returns to screens – with reigning champ Bob Mortimer tackling a brand new line-up of comedians in series two.
Jimmy Carr and Roisin Conaty will be back in the hot seat keeping an eye on the comics as they battle it out to stifle their giggles and smiles while trapped in a room together, until only one of them remains.
This time, winner Bob, 66, will fight against the likes of David Mitchell, Diane Morgan, Romesh Ranganathan to keep hold of the Last One Laughing crown.
The line-up is completed by Amy Gledhill, Maisie Adam, Mel Giedroyc, Alan Carr, Gbemisola Ikumelo and Sam Campbell.
The first three of the six episodes have been confirmed to hit the streaming service on March 19, with two more to follow on March 26 and the finale on April 2.
But to get to the finale, the newcomer comics will have to get through legendary comedian Bob – who broke all 11 of his rivals with his hilarious jokes last season.
Here, we run through some of Bob’s funniest moments from the first series, from that chair incident that left Judi Love giggling, to the joke that broke Richard Ayoade.

To get to the finale, the newcomer comics will have to get through legendary comedian Bob – who broke all 11 of his rivals with his hilarious jokes last season
The Magic Show
Just minutes into the first episode of the show, the comedians were tasked with entertaining one another with a one-man show up on the stage.
And Bob pushed many of his co-stars to breaking point with a ‘magic’ routine, that saw him ‘levitate’ a tea towel, birth a ‘chicken’ from a raw egg and balance a series of carrots, seemingly defying gravity.
It wasn’t the action that had the comedians stifling their laughs, but his encouraging ‘shh’ in between each element of the act, holding a finger to his lips.
In the camera room, host Jimmy was seen crying with laughter, telling Roisin and comedians Joe Lycett and Sara Pascoe he was ‘fully gone’.
Back in the room, Richard could be seen struggling not to crack a smile at the routine, with Joe Wilkinson dished out a yellow card for covering his face to hide his emotions.
The Song
Sitting down with Daisy May Cooper, Bob targeted the This Country actress with a series of silly songs, following her around the kitchen.
Before he even began, he nearly cracked Daisy by asking her if she wanted songs ‘with coffee or without’, placing coffee pods over his eyes and explaining: ‘This is with coffee.’
He then proceeded to sing the first song, titled Slender People, which featured lyrics including: ‘Slender people fit through gaps, and slender men look sweet in f**king slacks.’
As he continued to sing, Daisy was forced to get up from her chair and walk away, with Would I Lie To You? star Bob following her around with a second rendition.
Bob and Richard nearly broke a number of the group when they were tasked with having a face-off conversation on the set stage
The Chair
While not technically a joke, Bob managed to crack Judi Love when he hilariously sat down a chair, causing the furniture to let out a loud crack.
Joining the group at the table to discuss Harriet’s divorce, Bob sat down in a bar stool next to Judi when the loud noise rang out, leaving them all in a stunned silence.
Flashing a side eye towards Judi, he left the Loose Women star in fits of giggles, forcing Harriett, Daisy and Rob Beckett to flee in an attempt not to laugh.
Judi continued to let out giggles before she was handed a red card, that saw her join the other comedians in the video room with Jimmy.
Harriett’s Divorce
Bob nearly cracked comedian Harriett when talk turned to her divorce around the table, and the reasons why she split from her ex-husband.
‘Are you divorced, Harriett?’ Bob asked, before continuing: ‘Was it because of your diarrhoea?’ – leaving Harriett struggling not to smile.
‘It can come between a man and a woman,’ Bob added, to which Rob chimed in: ‘It can. Especially if you’re spooning.’
‘I call it the quicks, and if your husband has got the quicks, leave that room, and don’t ever think of pulling the chain,’ Bob concluded.
Harriett and the other comedians were seen getting up and walking away from Bob.
During the final joke showdown, comedians Bob and Richard shared a hilarious interaction as the Would I Lie To You Star tried to crack the actor with a series of one-liner jokes
Meats and Cheeses
Bob and Richard nearly broke a number of the group when they were tasked with having a face-off conversation on the set stage.
The exchange saw the duo bat back and forth on topics of conversation, including Bob joking he came from a family of ‘arms dealers’, and asking Richard if he ‘wanted to go and draw together under a horse’.
But it was when talk turned to Richard’s parents’ fictional jobs as supermarket workers that Bob nearly cracked some of the remaining comedians, and left Jimmy and the other hosts giggling behind-the-scenes.
‘They worked for NASA,’ Richard began, before Bob quipped back: ‘That’s the supermarket?’
‘One was on meats, and the other on cheeses,’ Richard continued, before Bob joked: ‘Meats and cheeses always pleases.’
The One Liner
During the final joke showdown, comedians Bob and Richard shared a hilarious interaction as the Would I Lie To You Star tried to crack the actor with a series of one-liner jokes.
Bob quipped: ‘I was in the cemetery and I saw a bloke get up from behind a gravestone. “Morning,” I said. “No – just having a s***”.’
The joke was from the comic’s book and caused Richard to crack up – meaning Bob walked away as the winner.
‘What I now realise I’d done was essentially sign up to be in goal and just have someone take penalty after penalty after penalty,’ Richard reflected on the exchange.
‘I had nothing and he was on a horse opposite me with a pocket full of material.’
