Did Joe Biden’s handlers photoshop the Easter family photo released yesterday?
We wish everyone celebrating today a peaceful and joyful Easter. pic.twitter.com/GQNsdZNaw1

Enquiring minds want to know.
As much as I love photography, I use Adobe Lightroom instead of Photoshop to edit my photos. I do so because I am lazy, not wanting to learn all the intricacies necessary to manipulate photos in a sophisticated manner. Lightroom does everything I want, is complicated enough as it is, and I have never wanted to insert anything into my photos.
But even I can detect bad photoshops, and this photo very much appears to be a bad photoshop, and lots of others are making the claim as well.
There are 2 versions of the Biden Easter photo out. One was posted by Joe. One was posted by Ashley. In Ashley’s photo, the hand to Joe’s left has been removed from the shoulder of the man.
These are photoshopped. pic.twitter.com/u5Zr5BUdiV

People started making the claim shortly after the original photo was posted. The original version–apparently, there are now two out there–had a few oddities, the most striking of which is Biden’s hand being seen on the shoulder of a young man even though his left arm is clearly at his side in the photo.
That’s creepy AF. Whose hand is this? Surely not yours. pic.twitter.com/4y0umeNI0q

Either Biden has extraordinarily long arms that bend in a way that only Lizard people can manage, or this was an artifact of horrible photoshopping. Even people who are good at editing photos make similar mistakes, and magazine covers can be notoriously photoshopped, resulting in some bizarre scenes that give you whiplash.
Once you begin to wonder about the legitimacy of the photo, lots of other oddities pop out.
Is Joe standing, sitting, or kneeling? The scale is off for any of these positions.
Here’s why this Easter photo looks photoshopped: 1) Biden’s lighting doesn’t match—his face and suit are too flat, no deep shadows like the rest of the group. 2) There’s a halo effect around his head and shoulders, especially on the left side. 3) His head looks too big,…

Here’s why this Easter photo looks photoshopped: 1) Biden’s lighting doesn’t match—his face and suit are too flat, no deep shadows like the rest of the group. 2) There’s a halo effect around his head and shoulders, especially on the left side. 3) His head looks too big, proportions are off compared to others. 4) No physical interaction—he’s isolated, no arms or shadows connecting him to anyone. 5) The background behind him is distorted, like the doorframe bends unnaturally. What do you all think? 🧐 #BidenEasterPhoto
The Fake Image Detector says it is likely fake, which seems to confirm what everybody online believes.
Do I KNOW Biden was photoshopped in? Of course not.
The preponderance of the evidence is that he was, but photos are weird. Sometimes, like the Biden/Carter family photo, seemingly fake images are real. That was so bad that nobody would release a Photoshop so bizarre looking.
But this whole affair is so Biden. They can’t even release a simple photograph of a family gathering without generating controversy because they are 99% fake in the most mundane circumstances. They lie so often that you are a fool to assume they aren’t lying.
This photograph is, I am pretty certain, a cheap fake.
