London rivals Arsenal and Crystal Palace clash on Sunday afternoon in what should be a testing encounter, with both sides playing their third match in just eight days.
The Gunners arrive as the 4/9 favourites to take maximum points – and rightly so, given their form and recent history in this fixture.
Mikel Arteta’s side are enjoying a run of six consecutive victories in all competitions, including the 4-0 demolition of Spanish giants Atletico Madrid in midweek.
That run also includes a sizeable 13 goals, an impressive five clean sheets, and more than 360 minutes without conceding a single goal in any competition.
And it’s no fluke either.
Arsenal have not faced a single shot on target in either of their last two Premier League matches, while they’ve also faced the fewest shots (65), fewest shots on target (18), and conceded the fewest goals (3) in the Premier League this season.
They’ve also won five of their last six Premier League meetings with Crystal Palace – so Oliver Glasner’s side really do have their work cut out.
That’s not to say it’s a foregone conclusion.
The Eagles drew 2-2 in this fixture last season and currently lead the Premier League for shots on target (43), xG (17.4) and big chances created (33) this season.

The Sweden international has been under the microscope following his big-money move from Sporting, having gone seven games without a goal for club or country.
But Tuesday’s Champions League brace will do wonders for his confidence, and playing at home should only enhance that, given all five of his goals have come on home turf.
The 27-year-old is still posting excellent underlying numbers in the Premier League. He leads the Arsenal squad for touches in the opposition box, total attempts, big chances, shots on target and expected goals – where he ranks sixth in the league overall (3.42 xG).
