A freak set of Super Sunday results helped punters to a “record-breaking” weekend.
That despite one Betfair punter who cashed out a winning four-fold early – banking £3,090 instead of over £30,000.

With four games spread across two kick-off times on Sunday, punters were faced with four favourites at home.
In the 2pm slot, Manchester United hosted Crystal Palace, coming from behind when Palace were reduced to ten men to secure the three points.
Benjamin Sesko again the hero there, scoring the winner for United again despite starting for a change.
Relegation-threatened Tottenham then traveled to Fulham where their woes were compounded further.
While Brighton and Nottingham Forest met at the Amex with all the goals in that game coming in the very early stages.
Incredibly, all three games finished 2-1 to the home sides, ahead of Arsenal’s late game against Chelsea.
One punter had the four home teams to win by that exact score line but the temptation of a £3,090 cash out was too much and they banked the cash before the game got underway.
Mikel Arteta’s men were again an eye-sore during open play but would seal the three points from another set piece and re-establish their five-point lead at the summit.
Had the mystery Betfair punter held on, they’d have scooped a whopping £38,250 for their £10 bet.
While another mystery punter backed the same four scores in a £1 yankee – £11 total stake – and secured a fantastic £6,144.88 payday.
Betfair Spokesperson, James Mackie said: “It was a memorable Super Sunday for many Betfair punters, and we’ve been taken to the absolute cleaners. It’s been one of the biggest winning weekends for punters for some years.
“Hats off to those who predicted there would be four 2-1 score lines across every Premier League match on Sunday. One customer, who had £10 on the 4-fold cashed out for £3,090 before kick off in the Arsenal v Chelsea game, however, if they held on the bet would have settled at £38,250.
“A likeminded bettor turned £1 into £6,100 with a 2-1 correct score Yankee. All in all, it wasn’t a good weekend for the bookies, and it is safe to say we took a complete bashing.
“From everyone at Betfair, congratulations if you had a winner over the weekend!”
