BBC Woman’s Hour host for three decades dies as tributes paid

DAME Jenni Murray has died aged 75.

The broadcaster hosted BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour from 1987 before leaving the role as the show’s longest serving presenter in 2020.

Over a career spanning decades, she interviewed the likes of Margaret Thatcher and Hillary Clinton.

She received a damehood in 2011 for her contribution to broadcasting.
