BBC Radio 1 broadcasting star Dave Jamieson has tragically died in Spain aged 76.
The presenter rose to prominence on hospital radio and was part of the early days of BBC local radio.
News of his passing was announced on Boom Radio, where he had served as a host since the channel’s start.
