BAYERN MUNICH legend Lothar Matthaus stepped out with his 26-year-old model girlfriend at the Ballon d’Or Ceremony.
The German football icon, 64, put on a dapper display as he dressed up for the event in a sharp black suit.
Accompanying former Ballon d’Or winner Matthaus was his partner Theresa Sommer.
The model, who also hails from Germany, reportedly started dating Matthaus earlier this year.
She turned heads in a stunning patterned dress and cut an elegant figure with a gold Dolce & Gabbana bag.
Theresa and Matthaus were all smiles as they posed for pictures on the red carpet.
And they are sure to have enjoyed an action-packed evening as PSG’s Ousmane Dembele was crowned the best footballer in the world.
The couple reportedly met at the start of the year and were first spotted together at an Austrian ski resort in April.
Matthaus, who divorced fifth wife Anastasia Klimko in 2021, refused to confirm whether he and Theresa were an item at the time.
When asked by German media, he said: “We came for skiing and the rest is a private matter.”

Reports claim Theresa is well acquainted with England, having studied economics and management at King’s College in London.
She also studied psychology up north at Durham University and now works as a model.
Matthaus was first married in 1981 to Silvia, who has kept his last name since their divorce in 1992.
The former couple had two daughters together.
Two years later he married Swiss model Lolita Morena, with the pair having a son, before their separation in 1999.
Matthaus then married Marijana Colic in 2003 but that only lasted six years.
In 2008, he wed 21-year-old Ukrainian model Kristina Liliana Chudinova in Las Vegas — but they split two years later.
Matthaus’ last marriage came in 2014 to Klimko, with the pair divorcing seven years later and also sharing a son together.
