COSMETICS brand Barry M is on the brink of going into administration in a shock blow to the make-up industry.
Founded in 1982, Barry M is famed for its crackle nail polishes, bold colours and the world’s first white eyeliner.

It has been a staple on high streets and supermarket shelves for more than four decades.
On January 29, the company filed a notice of intent to appoint administrators, according to court documents seen by The Sun.
This move signals it is seeking protection from creditors as it attempts to restructure its finances.
The notice gives the company some breathing space from creditor action while it explores its options.
No administrator has yet been formally appointed.
It remains unclear how many jobs could be affected if the process moves forward.
Barry M products are widely sold across UK supermarkets and beauty retailers.
This makes any potential collapse a worrying moment for the affordable cosmetics market.
Like many retailers, the company has been battling rising costs and a challenging retail environment.
The Sun has reached out multiple times to Barry M but they declined to comment.
