However, they found the perfect solution as they took over the away end at an A-League football ground as Melbourne City FC hosted Perth Glory.

And now they’ve been captured chanting and bringing the noise at a second venue as they took in the clash between Melbourne Victory and Wellington Phoenix.

Video footage shows the fans having a great time and chanting “We are the Army, the Barmy Army.”

They couldn’t have picked a better match in terms of goals and entertainment as the home side smashed FIVE past their opponents.

It was a 5-1 win for Victory with Nikos Vergos netting a hat-trick alongside strikes from Clarismario Santos Rodrigues and sub Keegan Jelacic.

It’s been quite the few days for the fans in Australia as they watched their heroes secure a fourth Test win in Melbourne.

That was a first win Down Under for 15 YEARS.

And it came after a truly miserable tour until now with England capitulating to embarrassing defeats in each of the first three matches.

The fifth test gets underway way on Saturday, January 3.

This one takes place at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

One player who won’t be part of it is Gus Atkinson after he became the THIRD England pace bowler to be ruled out of the Ashes series.

He suffered a hamstring injury on the second and final morning of the fourth test win and he now joins Mark Wood and Jofra Archer on the sidelines.
