BARCELONA have become the latest European giant interested in the services of a Spurs wonderkid.
The Catalan outfit have joined Bayern Munich in the hunt for the North Londoners’ teenage star Luka Vuskovic.
The Croatian defender is yet to make a senior appearance for the club since joining from Hajduk Split last summer for a fee of around £12million.
But he was loaned out to Bundesliga outfit Hamburger SV a month later, where he has impressed this season.
Vuskovic, who turned 19 in February, has already attracted the attention of league-leaders Bayern Munich.
But now there is even more pressure on Spurs to try and hold on to him, as Spanish giants Barcelona have shortlisted the star, according to Sky reports in Germany.
And while Hamburger SV are obviously keen to hold on to their gem with a second loan spell, Spurs are said to be planning a return for the young star in summer.
The 6 ft 4in centre-back already has all the physical attributes you would hope to find in a Premier League defender.
But his profile is unique among his peers, especially his eye for goal.
In his first full professional season – in which he starred on loan for Belgian club KVC Westerlo – he netted himself seven goals and two assists in just 28 league appearances.

That form was on display during his non-competitive Spurs debut as well, where he managed a goal and assist against League One side Reading.
His four Bundesliga goals this year and his impressive defensive contributions have pushed newly-promoted Hamburg up to 11th in the table so far this year, conceding the seventh-fewest goals in the league.
His form is both a blessing and a headache for this struggling Spurs side, who now face a real chance of losing him this summer, especially if they were to suffer a shock relegation.
Former Spurs defender Ramon Vega slammed the club for their handling of their new prospect last month.
He tweeted: “This player is not coming back to Spurs!
“Another of many players Spurs had a chance with, but they made the wrong decision.
“This is an example of the problem Spurs have been having within the football department! A total neglect.
“They will make good money, for sure, but there’s no football direction within the club. Off to Bayern he goes, no wonder I will not blame him.”
