BA flight to London makes emergency landing in Romania after four suffer ‘smoke inhalation’ & get medical assistance – The Sun

A BRITISH airways flight made an emergency landing in Romania after four passengers suffered from “smoke inhalation,” requiring urgent medical assistance.

The airbus A320 was travelling from Istanbul to London when it had to make an emergency landing.

British Airways Boeing 777-200 aircraft landing with landing gear extended against a clear blue sky.

The aircraft, carrying 142 passengers, requested the landing at Bucharest Henri Coanda International Airport at 5.50pm local time.

It touched down soon after at 6.14pm and medical crews quickly boarded the plane to attend to the passengers.

Romania’s Ministry of Health have since said in a statement that the ‘presence of smoke was confirmed’ immediately after the plane landed.
