AUDIENCE members have been banned from wearing chavvy clothing on Claudia Winkleman’s new chat show — because the crowd will play such a huge part in the programme.
They were warned by producers against wearing tracksuits and padded gilets to the studio when filming starts on Monday.

Instead, they are told to stick their gladrags on as there is a high chance they will feature on-screen in The Claudia Winkleman Show.
The website offering tickets to the new BBC One show states: “It will see Claudia showcase her contagious charm to interview both Hollywood stars and the best of British.
“But celebrities are not the only people Claudia is embracing on the show, she will also be conversing with the audience.
“So if you want the opportunity to have a chat with Claudia and possibly be on TV, this is the show for you.
“We’re asking everyone to dress to impress — we don’t want to see track- suits or puffer gilets; we’d like to look out of a sea of people dressed for a big night out with Claudia.”
Claudia’s show will air from March 13.
Her inaugural guests will be Hollywood’s Jeff Goldblum, stage actress Vanessa Williams and comics Tom Allen and Jennifer Saunders.
Meanwhile, Claudia has confirmed that Strictly’s string of misconduct scandals had nothing to do with why she and Tess Daly chose to leave.
Talking in Weekend magazine today, she says: “We wanted to leave when we were on an absolute high.
“It was 20 years of my life, I know it was the right time.”
