AT least three tourists have been killed and two others injured after a boat carrying foreign visitors capsized off the coast of Oman.
Police confirmed the vessel was carrying 25 tourists of French nationality, along with a tour guide and the boat’s captain, when the incident occurred.
Emergency teams from the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority were dispatched immediately to the scene.
Three tourists were pronounced dead, while two others suffered minor injuries and were treated on site by ambulance crews.
