Clips theorising what some of Hollywood’s most beautiful women would look like without cosmetic procedures or makeup have been trending on social media.
In an Instagram clip viewed over 1.1million times, Marina Polta, a certified cosmetologist, claims to show what some stars would look like if completely untouched by ‘science and self-care’.
She put images of celebrities such as Meghan Fox to Selena Gomez through an algorithm that theorises what someone would look like if they didn’t have any aesthetic treatments or makeup.
Blake Lively and Taylor Swift who are often lauded for their ‘Girl Next Door’ look, and natural appearance, also feature in the clip but Ms Polta aid she was almost certain that they have had some subtle treatments.
And she also claims Kendall Jenner, has also had some subtle tweakments, speculating that she has had filler or Botox—which the skin expert says is ‘still the queen of wrinkle free expression’.
Lively, Swift and Jenner have all strenuously denied ever getting cosmetic surgery or tweakments.
Katie Perry, who also featured in the clip, has also denied plastic surgery rumours but has admitted to having laser treatments and filler injected into her under-eye area.
As part of her post, Ms Polta revealed all the treatments she believes are ‘really keeping the stars shining’.

Kendall Jenner is said to be the most natural of the Kardashians, but rumours have circled about her undergoing cosmetic tweakments – such as filler and fat removal
One of the treatments that Ms Polta says celebrities are using is RF, short for radiofrequency, lifting.
Radiofrequency lifting has been gaining in popularity in recent years as a less invasive alternative to traditional cosmetic procedures.
It uses invisible energy waves to heat the middle layer of the skin—called the dermis—to between 50-70C (122-158F) to stimulate the production of collagen the building block for skin.
The end result tightens the skin, and giving a more ‘snatched’ look that combats the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Its relatively pain-free and usually takes around an hour, costing anywhere between £50 to £3,500 a session depending on the provider.
Another treatment that Ms Polta suspects celebrities are using to turn back the clocks and heal their skin are salmon sperm facials.
Kim Kardashian is one of the many celebrities who has publicly said that they have experimented with the unique treatment.
Salmon sperm injections—also known as polynucleotides—are said to boost hydration and promote collagen production, for a youthful glow.

The skin expert said: ‘Let’s be honest – natural beauty is rarely untouched anymore’

According to the cosmetologist, behind every ‘effortless’ face and flawless skin is a secret mix of science and self-care

In 2023, Selena clapped back at internet trolls, proudly stating that she has had Botox – though she didn’t detail what other treatments, if any, she has undergone
These facials involve injecting polynucleotides—fragments of DNA—derived from salmon sperm into the skin, and which boost cellular repair and regeneration.
According to Ms Polta, the powerful regenerative properties of polydeoxyribonucleotides—often shortened to polynucleotides or PDRNs—can help heal, hydrate and rebuild youthful skin from within.
Salmon sperm facials may sound unconventional, but Ms Polta says this type of treatment is likely to be one of Hollywood’s best kept skincare secrets.
‘The future of beauty is cellular’,’ she said.
A similar treatment Ms Polta also suspected stars of using was exosomes.
Exosomes are tiny membrane packages that play a crucial role in carrying proteins, lipids and genetic material that triggers cell renewal to exactly where it is needed.
Dermatologists claim that the membrane packages stimulate natural collagen production, reduce inflammation and enhance overall skin health.
It is often sold as a non-invasive treatment that could help younger adults with acne scaring.
And the good news is, according to the cosmetologist, these treatments are not just for celebrities.
She said: ‘It’s not about faking youth—it’s about mastering it. And yes, it’s available to you too—not just the stars’.
