Arsenal transfer news LIVE: Gunners plan ‘eye watering’ bid for Gyokeres, Zubimendi ‘advanced’ talks, Huijsen latest

Chelsea aim to beat Arsenal to Serie A star

Kenan Yildiz is one of the most talked about youngsters in Europe at the moment.

Currently playing for Juventus, the Turkish international has played 33 times this season in Seire A, scoring six and assisting two.

Arsenal are among a number of clubs, including Liverpool, who are chasing Yildiz.

However, reports suggest that Chelsea are pushing harder than anyone else to acquire the youngster this summer.

Zubimendi a done deal?

According to David Ornstein, Arsenal are acting as though Spanish midfielder Martin Zubimendi is already at the club.

The Spanish midfielder nearly joined Premier League side Liverpool last summer, but the deal fell through.

Now, with names such as Jorginho and Thomas Partey having their future up in the air, the Gunners are looking to reinforce in midfield.

Zubimendi has made 31 league appearances this season.

Partey on

Arsenal will offer Thomas Partey a new contract at the Emirates – but only on one condition.

Recent reports suggested that the Gunners will hand the midfielder fresh terms with his current deal running out in June.

According to ESPN, a new contract will only be possible if Partey accepts a sizeable pay cut.

Crown Jules

Arsenal are targeting a £55million move for Jules Kounde in the summer.

And the Barcelona star showed his worth last night for the Catalan giants.

The Frenchman rifled in a terrific extra-time winner to hand Barca a 3-2 win over arch rivals Real Madrid in the Copa del Rey final.

Clarke’s bold entrance

Despite defeat in the boxing North London derby, Arsenal fan Chev Clarke has gone viral online after his stunning walk-on.

He fought Spurs fan Viddal Riley on the undercard of Chris Eubank Jr vs Conor Benn last night at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

And while wearing red and white shorts, the fighter entered the ring while “North London Forever” blasted through the speakers.

Fans found it hilarious, with one saying: “As amazing as this is haha… how has this been allowed to happen?”

Another added: “If anything summed up Daniel Levy it’s this.”
