Arsenal transfer news LIVE: Gunners ‘on verge’ of making Eze bid, HUGE Lookman TWIST, Rodrygo ‘LOAN’ deal

Striker records

Here is a look at Arsenal’s striker records in the Premier League since the signing of Robin van Persie.

Viktor Gyokeres will be hoping to be more of a Van Persie than a Yaya Sanogo.

Villarreal release Partey statement

Villarreal have released a statement following their agreement to sign former Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey.

A segment of the statement read: “The club is also aware that the player is currently involved in legal proceedings in England.

“The player firmly maintains his innocence and denies all charges against him.

“The club respects the fundamental principle of the presumption of innocence and will await the outcome of the judicial process, which will be responsible for clarifying the facts of the case.

“Due to the law in England in relation to ongoing proceedings the club is unable to comment further.”

“Villarreal CF wishes to clearly reiterate its strong commitment to respect and diversity and strongly condemns any act of violence in all its forms, including gender-based violence, discrimination, racism, xenophobia, or any behaviour that undermines the dignity of individuals.”

Here is a look at the new kits Arsenal will be wearing for the 2025/26 season.

Which one is your favourite?

Porto scared off

Porto have reportedly been scared off of trying to sign Jakub Kiwior from Arsenal.

The Portuguese giants were reportedly keen on signing the Polish star from the Gunners this summer.

However, his price tag of £26million is not what Porto were expecting.

Gyokeres chances

Viktor Gyokeres may be the third favourite to win the Golden Boot this season.

But he still has a minuscule chance according to a supercomputer.

Arsenal splashed out £63.5million to land a striker at long last.

The Swedish international, 27, will be tasked with scoring the goals and fire Arsenal to a first Premier League title since 2004.

And he will do so in the No14 shirt famously worn by Thierry Henry.
