Imminent Gyokeres bid

Arsenal are set to make an imminent bid for Viktor Gyokeres, it’s been claimed.

Sporting chief Federico Verandas revealed this week that the Portuguese big boys have yet to receive any offers for their star striker.

But that is set to change after Arsenal and United representatives met with his agent on Wednesday.

That’s according to Record, who claim both clubs will table official bids for the super Swede in the “coming hours”.

Emotional goodbye

Khayon Edwards has bid an emotional goodbye to Arsenal following 16 years with the club in a heartfelt Instagram post.

He wrote: “Thank You, Arsenal. First, I want to thank God for guiding me through everything.

“To my mum and my family – thank you for the endless support and love. You’ve been with me every step of the way, and I’m forever grateful.

“To the fans, thank you for the love, the messages, the energy and the pride you’ve shown me. I’ve always felt it, and it’s meant the world.

“To the physios, doctors, staff, and everyone working behind the scenes – thank you for keeping me fit, focused and ready. You’re the heartbeat of the club.
