Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep reunited on Thursday on set of the The Devil Wears Prada 2 in New York City on Thursday.
The Princess Diaries star, 42 – who recently hinted at a major plot twist for the anticipated sequel – is reprising her role as Andy Sachs while the Oscar winner, 76, is stepping back into the shoes of Miranda Priestly.
Earlier this month, Hathaway confirmed that the film is currently in the midst of production and is set to hit theaters next year in May 2026 – 20 years after the first movie’s release.
While duo were not photographed together, Hathaway and Streep were both spotted leaving set on Thursday afternoon after filming with co-stars Simone Ashley, Pauline Chalamet and Alexina Graham.
Hathaway was seen arriving to the set in the Big Apple wearing a long-sleeved, cream jumpsuit while a sweatshirt was draped over her left arm.
She additionally slipped into a pair of black and gold-colored flats while a black purse was placed over her right shoulder.

The Devil Wears Prada was a critical success and raked in $326.7 million in the box office on a budget of around $35-$41 million.
It also garnered two Oscar nominations, such as Best Actress for Meryl Streep. Other nods included five BAFTAs and three Golden Globes – with Streep winning for Best Actress in a Motion Picture Musical or Comedy.
During an interview with WWD, Hathaway – who is also set to star in The Princess Diaries 3 – opened up about reprising previous roles.
‘I was so beautifully cared for on both of those films,’ she recalled, while adding that she had been young when making both The Devil Wears Prada and The Princess Diaries.
‘I was so guided and looked after and cared for by the communities that made both of those films in particular, each of their directors, Garry Marshall and David Frankel.’
She added, ‘I’m so excited that now I can do that for other people, that now I have the knowledge and the experience and the confidence to take care of other people on sets in which I’m looked at as a leader.’
