ANDREW is using daughters Beatrice and Eugenie as royal spies because he’s desperate to keep in with the Royal Family, experts claimed.
The former Prince, 65, was exiled and stripped of his titles over his links to paedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein.
He has been evicted from his 30-bedroom mansion Royal Lodge, in Windsor, and will move to a smaller property on the Sandringham Estate soon.
Esteemed royal biographer Ingrid Seward and royal commentator Charlie Ray shared their thoughts on The Sun’s Royal Exclusive show.
Host Royal Editor Matt Wilkinson highlighted how Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie had been snapped looking happy at Sandringham with the Royals on Christmas Day.
“I was fascinated by Beatrice and Eugenie going to Sandringham because we were led to believe that both of them were going to stay away from Royal Lodge, they were going to stay away from Sandringham to avoid being seen like they’re taking sides,” said the Royal Editor.
“However, they changed their minds and they went to Sandringham. They were standing on the steps outside of the church, smiling, happy with the King.”
Mr Rae argued it was the “right decision to be with the King“, and Ms Seward agreed.
“But I don’t think Beatrice and Eugenie had a choice. Andrew said to them, you have to go,” she said.
“Because he wants to keep a foot in. A, he wants to know what’s going on. B, he’d want to know what people were saying about him.
“And he’s always said that, and Fergie has said, ‘the girls are my passport’.
“They are Andrew’s only passport into the royal family now. And I’m absolutely sure that he persuaded them.
“And they might have said, ‘oh, Papa, we want to be with you’. And he’d said, ‘no, I want you to go there. That’s what’s going to make me happy’”.
Fellow royal expert Mr Rae agreed wholeheartedly and added: “Andrew wants to keep an eye on what’s going on.”
“He’s not invited, so he’s not at the table any more,” he continued.
“So one of the first things that would have happened when they got back would be Andrew would be on the phone saying, right, who said what?”
It comes after Andrew, who has always denied any wrongdoing, has been dragged deeper into the Epstein scandal by emails among more than 11,000 documents released in the US.
It is the largest batch of documents released so far with nearly 30,000 more pages.
The files released by the US Department of Justice show he was treated as a “subject” by prosecutors in two separate criminal probes back in 2020.
The terms “subject” and “target” are used to describe those under federal investigation.
US officials said they had documentary evidence suggesting Andrew knew Maxwell was recruiting females to engage in sex acts.
There was also evidence involving Andrew’s sex accuser Virginia Giuffre, with whom he agreed a reported £12million out-of-court deal.
US officials are keen to interview Andrew under caution but he has so far offered only a written statement.
Last week we reported how Epstein had ‘tapes in a secret compartment’ at a Bahamas pad that relate to Andrew, as per FBI tip-off claims.
And, cops are set to ask the FBI for more information about claims Epstein victims were drugged and tortured at ‘paedo ring’ parties in Britain.
We also reported last month how an Epstein survivor recalled being asked if she’d like to meet a prince before allegedly coming face to face with Andrew on Epstein’s private island.
And, there are signs ‘The Invisible Man’ in the Epstein files is Andrew…after “inappropriate friends” and “two-legged sightseeing” were mentioned in emails with Ghislaine Maxwell.
Meanwhile, chilling new images revealed a sinister massage room with hidden cameras in Epstein’s $77m Manhattan lair where Andrew stayed.
Newly released Epstein files also showed Andrew grinning in photos of his lying across women and hunting with the paedo at Balmoral.
Other photographs show Epstein and Maxwell enjoying hunting trips at the late Queen’s Balmoral residence in Scotland with Andrew, and in the Royal Box at Ascot.
Andrew, who lost his Duke and Prince titles while also being stripped of his Knight of the Order of the Garter, was brought to his knees by the Epstein scandal.
He has always vehemently denied all allegations against him.
