PRIMARK’S thongs have become a viral sensation – with shoppers racing to the store to try and grab a pack.
But one fashionista has insisted there’s a new one on the market that’s even better quality, and costs just £3 a pop.
Ayla took to her TikTok page to rave about the M&S undies, as she shared a video of one in white.
“Did you know that M&S sells cotton thongs for ONLY £3 or 5 for £12?” she wrote over the top of the clip.
“Amazing quality and actually really cheap!”
On their website, M&S says that the Tanga Thongs “are made from a stretchy cotton-rich fabric for soft, breathable comfort”.
And the positive reviews from happy customers speak for themselves too.
“Great fit and fabulous,” one wrote.
“Really pleased with my purchase so got some more.”
“Pretty but practical,” another agreed.
“Perfect for what I need and the perfect addition to my wardrobe!”
“These are comfy knickers what more can I say about them,” a third commented.

While Primark’s thongs are cheaper – at £4 for a five pack – some are not made from cotton.

They also can’t be tumble dried, while the M&S ones can, on a medium temperature.
