Amanda and Clive Owen looked unrecognisable in an old wedding photo as the pair opened up about their big day on Monday’s episode of Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive And Kids.
The pair – who share nine children – announced that they had gone their separate ways in 2022 after 22 years of marriage.
Despite not being in a relationship anymore, the two still work together and film for their TV shows, including the More4 series which follows them renovate 1800s derelict farm house Anty John’s.
In the latest instalment of the More4 programme, Amanda and Clive opened up about their special day as they sat outside the property they are transforming.
Amanda asked Clive what happened in July 2000, but he couldn’t give an answer and he giggled: ‘Why, what happened in August?’
She continued: ‘In August you probably regretted what happened in July!’

‘I remember now! I remember now!’ Clive laughed back. ‘We had a bit of a do in Muker. Didn’t we? What a hell of a day we had’

Amanda’s voice over then told viewers: ‘I’m going to let you into a bit of a secret. I got married to Clive at Muker’ and a picture from their big day appeared on screen.
She then went on to ask him: ‘Do you think when I got on my horse to ride side-saddle down the road like Boadicea, and there was a great thunderclap and lightning? Do you think someone was trying to tell me something?’
Clive replied: ‘There you are. That could have been a sign, couldn’t it, from the heavens? Yeah…’
Amanda told her ex-husband: ‘I’ll tell you something, though, it’s good that we can laugh about it.’
‘Well it was a grand day!’ Clive told her.
Amanda said: ‘Hey, it was a great day.’
Since their split, Amanda and Owen have continued to co-parent their nine children Raven, 24, Reuben, 22, Miles, 19, Edith, 17, Violet, 15, Sidney, 14, Annas, 12, Clementine, 10, Nancy, nine.

In September last year she shared insight into the current state of her relationship with ex-husband Clive following their split.
She said: ‘I’m surrounded by people and obviously, one of them is Clive who I’m separated from, but sometimes it feels like I’m not.
‘Like this morning, when I thought, “Why are your socks on the floor?” If we were all under one roof in a tiny space, we probably would’ve killed each other.’
She told The Mirror: ‘With real clashes of character and all the rest of it, but our “home” is pretty spacious, there are a lot of fields between us.’
Back in June 2022 Amanda confirmed that she and her husband Clive had split up.
The farming reality show star and best-selling author issued a joint statement with Clive on social media which said the couple have made ‘the difficult decision to separate’.
The statement continued: ‘This hasn’t been easy, but we both believe it’s the right choice for the future of our family.
‘Although we are no longer a couple, we continue to work on the farm and co-parent together with our number one priority the happiness and well-being of our children.
The couple added that they would like to thank everyone for their support and asked for privacy as they ‘work through this difficult time’.
It came after months of speculation about the couple’s marriage which had become the talk of the village in Swaledale.
They had issued a statement late last year insisting that they had not separated but described a ‘rocky patch’.
The couple, who star in a Channel 5 series about life on Ravenseat Farm in Swaledale admitted they were going through a ‘rocky patch’ in October and said ‘we’ve never said our marriage is perfect’ after locals revealed they had been living apart for months.
In October, the couple took steps to address intense speculation with a joint statement which read: ‘With the TV show and the books we’ve always aimed to show the reality of life on the farm, and just like any marriage we have our stresses and strains, coupled with all the complexities of what we do on the farm and bringing up nine kids.
‘We’re a normal family and we’ve never said our marriage is perfect. Unfortunately the constant intrusion into our lives from the media has amplified a rocky patch that we’re going through. We ask that the media respect our privacy as we work through this.’
Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive And Kids continues on Mondays at 9pm on More4
