She may have been the first to be murdered on this year’s series of The Celebrity Traitors, but Paloma Faith made sure to share the ultimate plot twist on Friday by announcing her pregnancy to the world.
The singer, 44, took to Instagram to announce she is 18 weeks pregnant and looking back the star dropped several clues she was hiding some big news in recent months.
Regularly sharing her life with her fans over on her Instagram and TikTok, recently Paloma has been hiding her stomach to make sure no one spotted her growing bump.
After being murdered by the traitors, Paloma took to Instagram with a teasing clip of herself returning home with all her packed suitcases filled with the outfits she never got a chance to wear on the show.
In the clip she is wrapped up in a coat and scarf, meanwhile in another traitor inspired clip she sits with a cushion covering her bump.
Elsewhere in a clip where she reunites with fellow faithful Niko Omilana, who was the first star to be banished, baby emoji’s are seen floating on the screen – seemingly another hit to her pregnancy.

Earlier this summer Paloma shared a bikini snap during a holiday in Ibiza as she penned: ‘Mumma is recharging’ – a hint that she was already preparing to become a mother for a third time.
On Friday Paloma debuted her bump snaps as she captioned the post: ‘Plot twist, mother is mothering (again) #morethangeriatricpregnancy #oappregnancy #oapmilf #18weekspregnant’.
She already shares two daughters with her ex Leyman Lahcine, who she split from in 2023 after nine years together.
The star is now a relationship with her boyfriend Stevie Thomas, a managing director of venue The JamHouse, who she has been with for a year.
Paloma has been incredibly open about the heartbreaking fertility struggles she has faced over the years, after conceiving both her children through IVF.
Before welcoming her two children, Paloma went through six rounds of IVF treatment, during which she suffered an ectopic pregnancy and a devastating miscarriage.
During the birth of her first child, following a successful second round of IVF, Paloma endured a horrific labour.
The artist had an emergency C-section which later led to fertility problems and post-partum psychosis, she revealed.

Paloma shed light on her difficult births on the How To Fail With Elizabeth Day podcast last year, as she said: ‘The birth was really difficult. It was actually unbearable…
‘It started with PROMS (Premature Rupture of Membranes) – You’re, sort of, in labour and that was only at six months pregnant, I think, and they were like You’re going to have to induce, you’re going to have a premature baby…
‘I was really defiant I was going to have that, so I was just in bed rest and downing four litres of water a day for a month to replenish the lost waters.’
On the traumatic time and her severe lack of sleep, she said: ‘After 21 hours in labour and no sleep for a week. I had seven hours of sleep in seven days…
‘I had an emergency cesarean which later on caused me fertility problems as well, and then a bit of post-partum psychosis because of lack of sleep so I was, like, hallucinating. Probably depressed for a couple of years without realising…
‘Later I wanted a second child and then I had three failed transfers. The fourth one worked and I was just so, kind of, headstrong about it.’
Paloma also spoke of the time she suffered a miscarriage on the set of 2019 Pennyworth, in which she played sociopath Bet Sykes.
She explained that while filming a fight scene, she realised she was miscarrying but insisted on carrying on with filming for fear of losing her job, saying: ‘I would just be going home without work and without a viable pregnancy.’
The star welcomed a daughter with ex Leyman Lahcine in December 2016 and a second baby girl in February 2021
On keeping her miscarriage secret at work, Paloma said: ‘[The miscarriage] started at work and it was a fight scene on Pennyworth. I just thought to myself, “It’s gone so I might as well carry on with what I was doing.” I had to go to the toilet nine times…
‘I told them I ate something bad last night because I knew if I told them they would escort me home. I didn’t want to. I would just be going home without work and without a viable pregnancy.’
In her and ex-husband Leyman’s quest to have a baby prior to welcoming their girls, Paloma said the IVF rounds were ‘harrowing’.
She said: ‘It’s so harrowing doing it and it’s always in the background. Nobody knows it’s happening. We had some issues…
‘I knew quite quickly there were problems and then found out the beginning of our fertility treatment was because it was on his side there were those problems but thanks to modern science and the patriarchy, it still falls on the woman.’
She then shed light on her ectopic pregnancy, which is when a fertilised egg implants itself outside of the womb, usually in one of the fallopian tubes.
She said: ‘I then had an ectopic pregnancy with the first one then my fertility starts going because I’ve had one tube damaged.
‘The second time worked, so I was lucky because I actually ended up with two viable pregnancies quite quickly.’
Paloma confirmed they’d split in 2023 after nine years together (Paloma and Leyman in 2015)
Earlier this year, Paloma revealed her new love has made her finally consider marriage after previously always being totally against it.
She has now told for the first time how serious her relationship has become with her new man, as she revealed they had been dating for nearly a year.
Speaking on Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo’s Newly Weds podcast in March, Paloma said: ‘This is a strange thing.
‘I wasn’t married to my kids’ dad and I’ve always been someone that’s very anti-marriage, because the history of it is that it’s about ownership of women and I’m the child of a feminist.
‘Weirdly, I don’t know what’s changed in me, but this guy gives me a bit like “Oh well”‘.
She continued: ‘I remember when I met him I was like “I’m never going to get married, don’t ever ask me”.
‘And then over time now I’m like “Yeah I don’t know, I’ll keep an open mind.” I can just feel myself softening.
In March, Paloma revealed her new love has made her finally consider marriage after previously always being totally against
‘If my mum hears this she’ll be like, “What the hell is going on with you? Is it a mid-life crisis?'”
‘I do think having kids with someone is stronger than marriage from experience.’
Asked by Jamie if it means she’s in love now, Paloma replied: ‘Yeah.
‘Also I feel like I’m coming from the perspective that I know how it can pan out as well. It can go still. If we don’t invest, if we don’t ask each other.
‘I really also believe in therapy so much. I just think if you get someone good, I think it’s so important.
‘If you’re with someone who’s like “I’m willing to go and try that.”‘
