All the Celebrity Traitors clashes you didn’t see on TV

IT’S FAIR to say that Celebrity Traitors has become the most talked about show of the year.

The smash hit BBC One star spin-off series has brought with it some truly memorable moments, but there have also been some unaired clashes between the cast that fans DIDN’T see.

Tonight, fans will be tuning in to watch the hotly-anticipated Celebrity Traitors final, when a winner will be revealed.

The final episode will determine whether Traitors Cat Burns and Alan Carr scoop the £100,000 prize or if it will be the three remaining Faithfuls – Joe Marler, Nick Mohammed and David Olosuga

The show has proved a massive hit for the BBC, which is largely down to its incredible line-up which included A-list stars like Stephen Fry and Celia Imrie.

Viewers have been tuning in on Wednesday and Thursday nights to see the stars backstab and lie as they try to avoid being murdered or banished from the castle.

MORE TREACHERY

Is there going to be a second series of Celebrity Traitors?

Celebrity Traitors has brought with it plenty of drama, with some of it spilling into real life when the cameras weren’t rolling.

There were also plenty of unaired scenes, that the stars of the show have been dishing the dirt on.

Alan and Paloma’s ‘feud’

One of the most talked about moments on Celebrity Traitors has be Alan Carr and Paloma Faith’s “feud”.

The pair had a very public spat after the TV chatty man, who is one of the Traitors on the show, bumped off his unsuspecting friend in plain sight by touching her face – making her the first star to be murdered, and subsequently leave the show.

This didn’t go down well with the singer, who has since been VERY vocal about how angry she was with her pal.

But it has since been revealed how there was even MORE drama that wasn’t shown on TV

In unaired scenes, Paloma was said to be “furious” at being the first victim, and reportedly didn’t hide her anger.

“She threw a wobbly afterwards about being the first to go,” an insider told the Mirror.

“Some players just shrug it off when they leave, but Paloma was fuming when she discovered who had betrayed her.

“She couldn’t work out what had actually happened, and when she found out the details it only made her feel worse.

“Paloma is loud and wears her heart on her sleeve – it’s fair to say that she wasn’t happy with going home first,” the source alleged.

Unaired ‘kickoff’

Fans just love a bit of Traitors gossip and tonight’s finalist Nick Mohammed gave them a HUGE scoop.

Although the Ted Lasso star didn’t name names, he said one of his Celebrity Traitors co-stars “kicked off’ over being denied a ‘basic human right’.

Speaking to Stuart Goldsmith on The Comedian’s Comedian Podcast, he said: “All your devices are taken from you. I was allowed one phone conversation a day with the kids. You are isolated from the outside world.

“We weren’t even allowed to know the time. So when we were in the castle, you’d be like ‘What’s the time?’ And they’d be like ‘It’s Traitors time’.”

Continuing with his story, he said: “Every single member of production had to just answer with that until someone kicked off and they said, ‘It’s a basic human right, you can just tell us the time, it doesn’t mean anything!’”

Lucy’s shock ‘b******s’ rant

Celebrity Traitors certainly brought out bitterness in some people.

Several of the stars who were either banished or murdered have vented publicly, and this includes Lucy Beaumont.

The comedian took to social media to have a good old rant about the Traitors who murdered her, and even branded them “b******s’.

Shortly after it was revealed on TV she had been bumped off by the Traitors, Lucy vented on Instagram and told fans: “If you have been watching Traitors tonight then you’ll know I’ve gone.’

She continued,: “They murdered me. B******s. But now I am going to start watching the show.

“There’s two episodes left, and I am going to put my input in – I don’t know what happens either.”

Ruth’s ‘f***ing snake’ jibe

Another VERY annoyed celebrity was Ruth Codd, who didn’t hold back after she was murdered by Traitor Jonathan Ross.

Behind-the-scenes the actress was said to have been absolutely “fuming” with the TV presenter.

An insider told the Daily Mail: “Ruth was furious after she was murdered during the early stages of filming.

“She called Jonathan a “f***ing snake” and really let go of her anger behind the scenes.

“There was definitely frustration from Ruth that her co-stars weren’t listening to her after she correctly identified Jonathan as a Traitor.

“Ruth felt that not many of the celebrities were following their own instincts and minds, which meant the game wasn’t always played properly.

“It was a shame for her to be murdered so early in the competition when she had a lot more to give.”

Jonathan has since spoken out about the so-called “beef” between the pair, insisting that there isn’t any.

Speaking on his podcast Reel Talk, the talk show host said: “I don’t think there was anyone there I didn’t like.

“Obviously, some people leave earlier than other people so you don’t get to spend as long with them. So you know, the younger people who went out earlier, I didn’t get to spend as much time with Niko [Omilana] or Ruth.

“I’ve spoken to them both since and all our lives are different but I think certainly we were friendly when we met so there’s no beef there. But I’d like to think that we could become friends.”

Stephen Vs David

One unaired “clash” that may surprise fans was between Stephen Fry and David Olusoga.

According to sources the pair had a “huge fall out”, in scenes that weren’t shown on TV.

A Traitors insider told the Daily Mail: “Stephen and David had a big argument, as they both accused each other of being a Traitor.

“They were so invested in the game, and it really showed during their debates.

“For some members of the cast, it was surprising to see the pair disagree, and it quickly became a talking point behind the scenes.

“The discussions between them are unlikely to be shown on Celebrity Traitors, as producers felt they didn’t follow the narrative. There were lots of subplots and conversations that haven’t aired.

“The irony is, neither Stephen nor David were Traitors, so they fell out for no reason, but that’s just part of the hilarity of the game.”

However, a Traitors spokesperson said of this “clash”: “To claim there was any tension between Stephen Fry and David Olusoga outside of the game is simply untrue.”

The Celebrity Traitors final kicks off tonight at 9pm on BBC One.
