ALDI will soon begin selling a £8.99 version of the viral solar lights that shoppers love for brightening up their gardens.
The German discounter’s Solar Hot Air Balloon String Lights will land in store on Thursday May 22.
Customers can pick up either a stripy or multi-coloured design.
Retailers such as Home Bargains already sell similar products, and they have proven a hit with shoppers.
The bargain retailer was selling a string of hot air balloon lights for £7.99, but it has since sold out due to popularity.
You can still buy a single decoration for £3.99 or a two pack for £5.99 at Home Bargain stores.
Asda also sold a version popular garden accessory, but that appears to be out of stock at the moment too.
Amazon is also currently selling a similar product for £9.99.
If you are keen to get your hands on Aldi’s version you will have to act fast as it is part of its Special Buy offers.
These are new products that land in-store every Thursday and Sunday.
The items are usually sold at a low price and only available while stocks last.
Also it’s worth noting that Aldi does not have online delivery so you will have to shop the product in person.
You can find your nearest Aldi by visiting stores.aldi.co.uk/store-finder.
It’s not the only bargain landing in stores in the coming weeks.
Next Thursday, the store will also sell a larger Solar Outdoor Lamp for £29.99 and a stylish string garden chair for £24.99.
The bargain store is also selling 1-litre pots of petunias and pelargoniums for just £1.89.
The colourful blooms are perfect for planters or adding to flower beds.
How to save money at Aldi
Unlike other major grocers, Aldi does not have a rewards or point card system but that does not mean you cannot save on your shop.
Every week the store releases a list of special buys, which are unique bargain products you can find online at Aldi and in store.
The store releases a fresh range of deals every Thursday and Sunday, so be sure to check regularly to see what’s new.
Meanwhile, the store also regularly sells fruit and vegetables at highly discounted prices, as part of its ‘super six’ deal.
It also does weekly saving offers on typically pricey items such as meat and fish.

Scanner apps are useful to have on your phone. Trolley.co.uk app has a scanner that you can use to compare prices on branded items when out shopping.
