Aldi‘s sell-out robot vacuum has returned for a limited time – but you’ll need to be quick if you want one, as loyal shoppers are already scrambling to get their hands on the bargain cleaner.
As part of the brand’s new life hacks range, Aldi is bringing the £99.99 robot vacuum to its Specialbuy aisle, along with a smart kettle and smart pet feeder.
It’s being compared to Beko’s budget model, which has basic laser navigation and claims to have 2,000pa suction.
If you missed out on this bargain Specialbuy, you can still pick up a budget robot vacuum at a fairly decent price. As someone who reviews appliances for a living, these are the ones I’d recommend.
A personal favourite of mine and one I’ve used for years, the eufy 15C is a classic budget robot.
With 2,000pa suction and obstacle detection, it’s a simple but effective robot for small homes with hard floors and low-pile carpets.
Roborock’s M5 claims to have a whopping 10,000pa suction alongside being able to mop at the same time.
This model as has anti-tangle brushes, designed to help deal with stray hairs, something rarely found on robot vacuums.
This incredible value vacuum has 5,000pa suction can create home maps and no go zones AND mops, all for under £200.
Get an additional £30 off the price by clicking ‘get voucher’ on Amazon, making it just £149.99.
This model from eufy has an anti-tangle brush roller designed to tackle pet hair.
Add to this powerful 4,000pa suction and a slim designed that fits under sofas and it’s a good allrounder for small homes.
This is a refurbished/renewed product, so it’s like new but at a much cheaper price.
Aldi’s own budget robovac uses Gyro navigation and claims to have powerful 3,000pa suction. It can also adjust suction power depending on the type of surface it needs to clean.
Most impressively for the price, this model can also mop hard floors – a feature that often bumps the price of robot vacuum significantly.
Capacity-wise there’s a 400ml dustbin complete with HEPA filter to help with allergies and a 250ml water tank.
While the vacuum only has basic obstacle detection, it can be app controlled and is compatible with Google. Siri and Alexa.
This allows you to set the vacuum going from anywhere in your home, as well as schedule cleans for when you’re at work or even asleep.
The Aldi robot vacuum is available from 13 July and can be found in the Specialbuy aisle. As always though, once they’re gone, they’re gone, so interested robot fans shouldn’t hang around.
