ALDI has launched a bargain beer dispenser on Specialbuys shelves this week – and it comes just in time for Father’s Day.
If your dad’s a craft beer connoisseur, then the budget store has the perfect pick and it’s more than £100 cheaper than others on the market.
The Ambiano beer dispenser at Aldi is set to be the perfect gift this Father’s Day.
At just £24.99, the gadget is a classic bargain buy and more than £100 less than Lakeland’s Fizzics DraftPour beer dispenser.
The latter is currently retailing at £129.99.
With summer barbecues and outdoor family and friends gatherings likely to increase over the next few months, the arrival of Aldi’s budget beer dispenser couldn’t have come at a better time.
There are several innovative design touches to the Ambiano beer dispenser, making it perfect for small parties or large events.
These include its power supply – it only requires two 1.5 V AA batteries to run it – and its sleek design.
Other features and dimensions include:
- Suitability: it can cater for beer can capacities of 330ml, 350ml, 440ml and 500ml
- For bottles, it can cope with 66mm diameters of 66mm and heights of 260mm
- Its approximate dimensions are 18.6 × 12 × 49.6cm
- Rated power: 1.80 ± 0.5 W (foaming), 1.05 ± 0.255 W (normal beer)
It also comes with a three-year warranty as standard,
The Ambiano beer dispenser comes to Lidl stores on June 1 just in time for Father’s Day and at an impressive bargain price.
In contrast, the Fizzics DraftPour beer dispenser from Lakeland retails at £129.99.
Like the Ambiano dispenser, the unit from Lakeland is suitable for IPAs, ales, pilsners and more.
The Aldi dispenser will retail at just £24.99 from June 1 in most stores.
How to stay cool this summer

Most of us welcome hot weather, but when it’s too hot, there are health risks. Here are three ways to keep cool according to the NHS…
Keep out of the heat if you can.
If you have to go outside, stay in the shade especially between 11am and 3pm, wear sunscreen, a hat and light clothes, and avoid exercise or activity that makes you hotter.
Cool yourself down.
Have cold food and drinks, avoid alcohol, caffeine and hot drinks, and have a cool shower or put cool water on your skin or clothes.
Keep your living space cool.
Close windows during the day and open them at night when the temperature outside has gone down. Electric fans can help if the temperature is below 35 degrees. Check the temperature of rooms, especially where people at higher risk live and sleep.
