Aldi is launching anti-ageing dupe that’s £51 cheaper than Kardashian fave brand

SAVVY beauty-lovers are dashing to Aldi to nab an anti-ageing moisturiser – an uncanny dupe of an A-list favourite.

The OG product is loved by the Kardashians, but Aldi’s own version has taken on the skincare giant Drunk Elephant.

Supermarket giant Aldi is serving up a replica of Drunk Elephant Lala Retro™ Ceramide Face Moisturiser.

The original cult product comes in at a pricey £58.00 for 50ml.

The Aldi penny-pinching Lacura Multi-Peptide Moisturiser is priced at just £6.99.

That’s a saving of an impressive £51.

The pair claim to provide instant hydration and work on firming the face, but the dupe is a jaw-dropping 87 per cent cheaper.

‘Improve skin tone, texture, and elasticity with the Lacura Multi-Peptide Moisturiser,’ says Aldi.

‘Formulated with a powerful complex of seven peptides, proteins, nutrients and enriched with Waterlily Extract to offer hydrating, anti-ageing benefits.’

The products looks uncannily similar – and while the OG version contains nine peptides compared to Aldi’s seven, both include waterlily extract.

This reduces inflammation, tightens pores, protects the skin from environmental damage and helps moisturise at the same time.

The luxurious facial cream is packed with six essential oils and ceramides, an ingredient hailed by skincare experts due to its anti-inflammatory qualities and ability to strengthen the skin barrier.

Rich whilst still offering a lightweight texture, this cream is the perfect everyday moisturiser, providing an instant hydration boost whilst also minimising the look of fine lines and wrinkles.

The cost-saving world of dupes offers clever, copycat products designed to mimic luxury favourites – and there’s plenty more.

Aldi’s health and beauty brand is home to other skincare must-haves.

If you’re still trying to hang onto a summer tan – you can top it up with ALDI’s £3.99 tanning beauty dupe – Lacura Tanning Drops (30ml).

It’s a massive 89 per cent cheaper than its designer rival – Drunk Elephant’s £35 version – saving shoppers £31 a bottle.

Skincare-gurus will also love Aldi’s Lacura Vitamin C + Turmeric Oil which – for £5.99 – brightens dull complexions while reducing redness.

It contains Ginger and Sweet Orange Essential Oils with a blend of Raspberry, Evening Primrose, and Jojoba Oil.

With the promise of rejuvenating skin and leaving it soft and supple, what’s not to love?
