Although the video is yet to be officially released, singer Sam shared a brief clip of it on his Instagram page.

In a black and white shot, Owen can be seen surveying the landscape, with a blanket wrapped around his shoulders.

Sam captioned his post: “I get a little bit closer”, seemingly referencing the song’s title.

Adolescence director Philip Barantini, also worked on this video, and will be well aware of Owen’s talent, following his star turn as Jamie Miller in the show.

The series was co-created by Stephen Graham, who also plays Jamie’s dad Eddie.

The harrowing drama, is one of Netflix’s most successful British dramas and has clocked up 114.5M views on the streaming platform.

Hollywood star Brad Pitt‘s production company – Plan B Entertainment – is said to be in talks about a potential second season of Adolescence following its huge success.

According to Deadline, Plan B co-presidents Dede Gardner and Jeremy Kleiner are liaising with director Barantini.

It’s thought they are speaking about how they can “widen the aperture, stay true to its DNA [and] not be repetitive”.

The four-part limited series, co-starring Top Boy‘s Ashley Walters, became a surprise hit for the streaming giant when it launched last month.

Dede Gardner said: “Phil’s style of doing the episodes in one take is not a gimmick. It’s very much in conversation with the subject matter.

“In early conversations with Stephen and Jack, they were talking about how it’s too easy to look away. You can look away from the school, you can look away from the police station, you can look away from the counselling, you can look away from the family.

“In that kind of prismatic way of viewing, you can duck the issue. So our theory was, what would happen if you couldn’t look away? And will that make the subject embed in you in a different way? That was a thrilling thing.”

While Kleiner said Fight Club star Brad was “blown away” by the original script, and was very much “part of the energy, drive, and impetus to get the thing off the ground”.

Brad also starred in Guy Ritchie’s 2000 feature Snatch alongside Stephen Graham and Kleiner added: “Brad is a massive fan of Stephen.”

Adolescence explores the story of the fictional Miller family, whose lives are turned upside down when their 13-year-old-son Jamie is arrested on suspicion of murder having been radicalised online.
