Amazon Prime series Hazbin Hotel has returned for a second series despite the fact parents have begged for it to be banned.

The series – which follows the Princess of Hell, Charlie, as she and her friends try to save the souls of the damned by helping sinners find redemption and enter Heaven – came out on October 29.

The musical cartoon has been criticised by guardians for their depictions of violence, social issues and sexuality.

Despite parents calling for it to be banned, the show – which embraces all things dark and controversial – has made its return.

Following the first season, which involved storylines about porn production, assassinations and even cannibalism, viewers took to Google to share their grievances.

One wrote: ‘Where do I even begin? Not only is this show satanic, but it’s also a HUGE bad influence to all of society!’

Another shared: ‘THIS SHOW IS STRAIGHT BLASPHEMY. Y’all I get it’s a cartoon and it’s not real, but IT DON’T MATTER.’

A third commented: ‘Parents beware!! This show is absolutely disgusting. It is filled with sex, violence and profanity like I have never seen before.’

However some viewers took it even further by starting a petition on change.org titled ‘Urge Prime Video to Remove Hazbin Hotel from Its Catalogue’.

Things were taken even further with people complaining to Common Sense Media, which is a source of entertainment and technology recommendations for families.

Someone wrote: ‘Kids should NOT watch Hazbin Hotel. It had way too much swearing, sex, violence, and inappropriate humour and behaviour.’

Another claimed that ‘there are way too many sex jokes and swearing, and worst of all, kids younger than 10 are watching this… we need to do something about this’.

The show received an 18 age warning in the UK for depictions of strong sexual violence.

Prime Video also labels the show as an ‘adult animated series’ and is clear that it’s not suitable for children.
