Billionaire Nelson Peltz and his wife are being sued by a former housekeeper who claims she was terrorized by their ‘vicious’ pit bull, the Daily Mail can reveal.
Mileydis Morejon says she was attacked multiple times by the Peltz family pet as she carried out her duties at their $100million mansion in Palm Beach, Florida.
The ‘untrained’ animal – named Houdini – tore her clothes during one incident and she was forced to fend him off with a vacuum cleaner in another, it’s alleged.
Fast food mogul Nelson, 82, and his 70-year-old wife Claudia, whose daughter Nicola is married to Brooklyn Beckham, deny negligence.
The Last Airbender actress Nicola, 30, can be seen cuddling up to Houdini in cute photos posted to Instagram.
But according to Morejon’s suit the pit bull or pit bull mix dog ‘had a vicious nature, a vicious disposition, and/or had a propensity to attack/or attempt attacks which was known or should have been known by defendants.’

The complaint says that on November 2, 2023, Houdini was unrestrained and out of control in an area of the oceanfront estate used for business guests.
‘Houdini, without any provocation, suddenly and without warning lunged at and/or attempted to attack plaintiff,’ the five-page suit states.
Morejon was ‘injured when she fell to the ground attempting to escape from Houdini’s attack.’
The former staffer said it was the third time she’d been violently set upon by the wealthy couple’s dog.
‘Once Houdini ripped Plaintiff’s … clothes in an attempting attack (sic), and on another occasion Plaintiff’s … fended off Houdini using a vacuum cleaner,’ the complaint adds.
Morejon is demanding in excess of $75,000 in damages under a Florida law that states that ‘owners of dogs shall be liable for any damage done by their dogs to a person.’

She suffered disfigurement, mental anguish and loss of earnings, as well as a reoccurrence of a pre-existing condition that saddled her with medical bills, according to the suit.
Nelson, whose Florida mansion was the opulent venue for Nicola’s fairytale 2022 wedding to Brooklyn, the son of David and Victoria Beckham, hit back in counter-filings.
‘It is undisputed that plaintiff did not suffer from a dog bite by Mr Peltz’s dog nor was any physical contact made with Mr Peltz’s dog at the time of the subject incident,’ his lawyers wrote.
Nelson and his ex-model wife – worth an estimated $1.4billion – also dismissed suggestions that Houdini was aggressive.
They said Morejon should have been accustomed to the animal’s behavior because she had ‘routinely encountered and cleaned up after Houdini’ in her role as housekeeper.

He sued the pair in 2023 for the return of a $159,000 deposit after firing them just nine days into their stint as organizers of the $3.5million, three-day Peltz-Beckham nuptials.
They countersued for breach of contract, however, branding Nelson a ‘bully’ and insisting they worked flat out trying to cater to his family’s whims.
Braghin and Grijalba had been drafted in as last-minute replacements for Preston Bailey, an icon of the industry who planned the wedding of Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas.
They claimed the arrangements they inherited were shambolic, with multiple, competing guestlists and a bride-to-be allegedly ‘too busy’ to speak with them on the phone.
The suit was settled in September 2023 when Plan Design agreed to make a donation to the CARE Ukraine Crisis Fund under Nicola and Brooklyn’s names.
