Man Utd transfer news LIVE: Rashford ‘wants Barcelona move’, Delap EXCLUSIVE, Hojlund’s future ‘uncertain’

Red Devils linked to Monaco defender

Monaco star Vanderson is being linked with a move to Manchester United.

The Brazilian full-back still has three years remaining on a contract which see him to pocket almost £50,000-a-week.

But GiveMeSport claim United are weighing up a summer swoop.

Rasmus oversteps the mark with kit violation

Chelsea’s Premier League match with Manchester United was temporarily stopped due to an unexpected kit violation.

Red Devils hitman Rasmus Hojlund was the guilty party in the second half of the Stamford Bridge showdown on Friday night, which Chelsea won 1-0.

The Denmark international returned to the pitch after the second-half interval wearing what appeared to be a fitness tracker.

Hojlund’s wearing of the device didn’t go unnoticed, with the referee Chris Kavanagh briefly halting the game and instructing him to remove it.

And the Dane couldn’t help but laugh as he made his way to the touchline to hand over the device.

The bizarre incident stunned footie fans, who flocked to X to give their thoughts.

One wrote: “Hojlund really came on the pitch with an Apple Watch.”

Another said: “[He was] counting his steps.”

And another said: “Counting his steps cos (sic) he knows he won’t score.”

One remarked: “Bruv just wanted to get his steps in.”

Final excitement builds as Amorim shrugs off pressure

United minds are already switching to next Wednesday’s Europa League final.

Boss Ruben Amorim said: “Of course, we are excited to be in the final.

“Since day one the pressure has been there but I live quite well with the pressure.

“When you have the final of any cup, we show up so we are prepared for that.”

Ruben relieved at no injuries

Relief probably dominated Ruben Amorim’s thinking – despite yet another Prem defeat.

United face Tottenham in Wednesday’s Europa League final.

And after the 1-0 loss at Champions League hopefuls Chelsea, Amorim said: “We have to prepare for each competition, with five days, we can rest.

“We have five days to prepare [for the Europa League final], two days to fully recover and then two days to prepare.

“In the end I looked at all the players and I think they are ok.”
