Kate Cassidy has posted on social media for the first time since it was revealed she would not inherit any of Liam Payne‘s £24m fortune.
The former One Direction member’s girlfriend shared a picture to her 900,000 followers on Instagram just hours after it was revealed Payne left a £24,280,000 legacy after tragically dying without a will.
Cassidy, who previously revealed their plans to marry shortly after his death, posted an image of the inside of her handbag, showing a sandwich from Starbucks and some hair extensions.
She shared the image along with the caption: ‘What’s in your purse??? Mine: starbucks and @glamseamless.’
Payne left a total of £28,595,000, which was later reduced after his expenses and debts were paid, after he fell to his death from a hotel balcony after a drink-drug binge on October 16 last year.
Power of administration of his estate was granted to his ex Cheryl Tweedy, the mother of his eight-year-old son Bear, meaning Cassidy could receive nothing.

Earlier this week, Cassidy also posted a series of glamorous snaps of her watching the Miami Grand Prix.
The pictures showed her sporting a sleek black leather-look top, denim shorts, and a bright red Ferrari cap as she partied with friends alongside the F1 track.
Others also showed her beaming alongside a friend, with the caption reading: ‘Had such a great time at f1’.
The post also included a photograph of a rainbow to her account, which one fan theorised could be Liam sending her a message.
Writing in the comments, the fan said: ‘Liam showing up through the rainbow’ to which Kate replied: ‘He had to say hello.’
Kate has previously detailed other ‘signs’ that Liam has sent her while sharing her difficult journey with grief on social media.
She recently shared a photograph of a note which she believed the late singer sent her as a message from above. The small note showed a drawing of a crown with the numbers ‘444’ written inside.
She penned: ‘Sign for today. [I] was cleaning out my purses and found this note at the bottom of one.’

Liam’s estate was published as a limited Ad Colligenda Bona grant, which is commonly applied for during the sale of a deceased person’s property, where the deceased’s executors may have found a buyer for the property shortly after the death.
It is likely that the fortune will be placed in trust for Liam’s son under UK rules of intestacy, where the person’s estate is usually passed to the lawful spouse or their nearest blood relative.
Friends have previously told that he made arrangements for his money to go to his only child in the event of his death.
That is despite the fact that there would often be thousands of miles between them, as the singer spent a lot of time in America. Most of their interaction occurred via video calls on FaceTime.
‘Liam had some very sensible people around him for a time and he adored Bear so much,’ a source close to the late star told The Mail’s Katie Hind.
‘He always wanted to do the right thing by him financially.
‘It is a small consolation that Bear will never want for anything, that he will at least benefit from that.’
Cheryl, 41, was named alongside Richard Bray, a top music lawyer with a track record of representing stars including Ed Sheeran.

Liam, who had been dating Kate for two years when he died in October, had been with her in Argentina until two days before he fell 45ft to his death from a hotel balcony at the age of 31.
His medical cause of death has since been confirmed to be ‘polytrauma’, a term which means a person has multiple traumatic injuries to their body.
Five people have been charged over the singer’s death in Argentina after he fell from a third-floor balcony.
The hotel’s manager, a receptionist and a friend of Payne have been charged with manslaughter, Argentina’s National Criminal and Correctional Prosecutor’s Office previously said in a statement.
Payne was one of five members of hit boyband One Direction alongside Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan.
The band were formed on Simon Cowell’s The X Factor before becoming an international sensation.
They split in 2016 after Zayn decided to leave the band. He launched a successful solo career, releasing his debut solo album LP1 in December 2019, which included the songs Polaroid and Strip That Down featuring Quavo, and the track For You with Rita Ora.
Liam’s £3.2million home in Buckinghamshire, which he bought to be closer to Bear, went up for sale a month before his sudden death.
