Luckily, bargain-mad shoppers have found just the right item to keep cool – and it’s so good, they say ”everybody should buy”.

According to money-smart Brits, the popular high street retailer The Works is selling a Mist Spray Fan that’s ideal for staying fresh in the hot weather.

Priced at just £3, the portable mini fan comes in three summery shades – yellow, blue and pink.

A fantastic way to stay fresh in the heat, this handheld mist spray fan holds 385ml of water – perfect for the beach, camping, BBQ, travel, climbing, exercise and more.

To use this bargain, simply fill it water and place two AA batteries in the compartment – however, these need to be purchased separately.

The £3 price tag is indeed a bargain, as other rival retailers offer similar products for more, such as Temu where it goes for around £4 or Amazon – which will set you back a fiver.

The Works customers can either get it from their local branch or have it delivered.

Those who opt for the latter will have to spend a minimum of £30 and pay an extra delivery charge of £2.99.

With summer just around the corner, the mini product has already become all the rage.

Online, the summer essential has won an impressive four-star rating and and over 180 gleaming reviews.

How to keep cool in hot weather

Most of us welcome hot weather, but when it’s too hot, there are health risks. Here are three ways to keep cool according to the NHS…

Keep out of the heat if you can.

If you have to go outside, stay in the shade especially between 11am and 3pm, wear sunscreen, a hat and light clothes, and avoid exercise or activity that makes you hotter.

Cool yourself down.

Have cold food and drinks, avoid alcohol, caffeine and hot drinks, and have a cool shower or put cool water on your skin or clothes.

Keep your living space cool.

Close windows during the day and open them at night when the temperature outside has gone down. Electric fans can help if the temperature is below 35 degrees. Check the temperature of rooms, especially where people at higher risk live and sleep.

”Picked up another 5 today as older grandchildren now want them.”

”Great product loved by my kids, their friends, and even grown ups!” read another rave review.

”It’s easy to put in the batteries, and the fan gives powerful air but when touched by a hand it stops, so gentle for the kids.”

”Been getting these for a few years now. Great little gadget for the summer heat,” someone else was singing praises.
