TEMPLEGATE tackles Thursday’s racing confident of building the bank for another mega few days of action.

ALFIE BOY (8.00 Ayr, nap)
Went from the front at Beverley last time and kept galloping to land a cosy success. Trainer Tim Easterby turns him out again a week later to take advantage of a 5lb penalty.
He stays a mile strongly on decent ground and he’s more than capable of going in again in what looks a pretty modest contest.
SEE THAT STORM (4.35 Redcar, nb)
He finished last season with three wins in a row under today’s jockey Callum Rodriguez. He saves his best for this distance and two of those victories came at this track. He’s up a fair 3lb for the most recent win and that gives him every chance.
CLASINA (7.00 Ayr, treble)
Had shocking luck in running on comeback at Musselburgh last month. Katie Scott’s filly did well to keep going despite being knocked about and was less than two lengths away at the line. She should improve for the run and go close again.
