MEGHAN Markle and Prince Harry are “in no man’s land” as they navigate “crisis point”, claimed experts.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have both launched multiple business ventures since stepping down as senior working royals and quitting the UK in 2020.
Since turning their backs on the Royal Family, the couple have battled several stumbling blocks while trying to carve out their new identities.
Meghan, 43, has this year released her latest Netflix series With Love, Meghan, in which she hosted Hollywood pals.
Shortly after came the roll out of her brand As Ever, despite the company facing a series of setbacks.
The mum-of-two then dropped her second podcast, Confessions Of A Female Founder, which has already dropped off the Spotify Top 100 list.
The Duchess has also been promoting her ShopMy page, on which she advertised a controversial “ethical” handbag, where she shares links to her wardrobe and pockets a commission.
Harry meanwhile has been busy working on his Polo documentary on Netflix, and as ever his Invictus Games.
But despite trying to “reinvent themselves”, the pair are yet to settle on a particular niche, according to experts.
Royal biographer Mr Vickers told The Sun’s royal editor Matt Wilkinson: “I think they’re always at a crisis point, because they’ve left the Royal Family.
“The Royal Family are working for the United Kingdom commonwealth, whereas they’ve taken the celebrity route which means they have to completely reinvent themselves the whole time to keep in in front of the public.
“They’re always changing direction, therefore they must always be at a crisis point.
“I have a feeling this story is going to end badly certainly for Prince Harry.
“I don’t see it lasting. I mean I don’t wish, but people actually always act in character, I mean I’m a biographer rather than a journalist.
“So I look at how people deal with their lives and she’s dumped her father, her first husband, Jessica Mulroney, the entire British royal family.”
Royal commentator Bronte Coy also said there has been “a lot of redirection” for the couple after “deals collapsing”.
“Meghan’s launching a new business that has had a few twists and turns and snafus and there have been more reports than ever about the state of their relationship both professionally and personally,” she said.
When asked if they agreed with royal biographer Tom Bower that they couple are “relentless and restless”, both experts said the description was fitting.
Mr Vickers claimed Meghan’s Netflix show was an indication there isn’t proper management or a course ahead as it lacked direction.
His fellow guest agreed and added: “It’s not really about food it’s all about her being relentless and restless.
“We have spoken on this show a few times about how that seems to boil down to the post-royal identity crisis for both of them which is that they are in a royal no man’s land.
“There isn’t really a blueprint for them to follow to find success career-wise after leaving working royal duties.
“That has to add a lot of pressure, and it also could be the fact they don’t seem to have landed on paths.
“But, it doesn’t seem like they’ve really figured out exactly who they want to be after leaving the royal family.”
Ms Coy also believed Harry was at a “cross roads” with his career and post Royal Family identity.
She claimed: “I sort of get the impression that Harry would be really happy to just sort of be surfing and doing some charity duties every once in a while but that’s clearly not Megan’s focus and this that in itself is a is a relatively relatable issue.
“When couples reach those points where they’re branching off with different goals for their long term future.
“Megan wants to be a billionaire celebrity. I think Harry appears to to be happy to just do a few charity engagements and focus on those things that he likes.”
It comes after Meghan teared up on the latest episode of pal Jamie Kernlima’s podcast, while talking about Archie and Lili.
The Suits actress reflected on motherhood and explained how she wanted her kids to know how no one will have loved them “the way our mum loved us”.
