She joined the team in the imminent moments following the win as she could be seen in the crowd of players who were hugging one another in celebration.
She penned alongside the album: ‘ @wrexham_afc thank you to the entire town, everyone who flew in far and wide, and to everyone on the field and off, from groundskeepers to stewards, gift shop to PT, kit managers to self elected chant writers. history was made yesterday not just with you, but because of you.
I’ll always appreciate the warmth and embrace that you give me and my loved ones, in a way usually reserved for family. Your passion and the ferocity of your joy is the magic. Thank you for an unforgettable day. And for being a key part of our lives every day.
Congratulations to the entire team, their families and the one and only Phil Parkinson. You show us all that impossible dreams really can come true. ♥️
@robmcelhenney & vancityreynolds my favorite “crazy ones, misfits, rebels, troublemakers, round pegs in the square holes… ones who see things differently”. Thank you for the community and elation you bring me, your family’s and so many.
And congratulations to the @wrexhamafcwomen on another incredible season. We’re so proud of you and grateful to all you do to elevate girls dreams. Seeing so many little girls on the pitch last night wearing Wrexham jerseys was one of my highlights’
Earlier in the day she also shared a gushing tribute to Ryan and Rob McElhenny to celebrate their success.
And after putting on a very animated and PDA-filled display at the game, Blake then shared a celebratory post to her Instagram Stories, gushing over Ryan.

Voicing her congratulations to the team and the Wrexham fans, Blake wrote: ‘Back to back to back. History was made.
‘Congratulations to @wrexham_afc I will never forget the love and elation in that town today. Thank you for sharing it with us always.’
She then addressed Ryan and Rob, writing: ‘And to these two men, @robmcelhenney & @vancityreynolds …the love and respect that pours out of you each and together exponentially grows and creates more joy, more possibilities, more magic, more history.
‘This picture feels to me like a painting of all you do for so many for being so present and appreciative of every moment.’
Ryan himself also took to his Instagram to share a jubilant post, alongside a slew of photos of himself, Blake and Rob proudly posing with the team, coaches, fans and trophy.
In the accompanying heartfelt and lengthy caption, he shared his pride for the club and reflected on how far it had progressed in the four years since he and Rob first took over.
While he also voiced his love for the Welsh city itself, admitting he ‘feels at home here’ and comparing the stadium to a ‘church’.

Concluding his tribute, he wrote: ‘Somebody said the Welsh have the “heart of a poet and the fist of a fighter.” That’s what I love about this place. I wish the whole world could visit Wrexham. Diolch’
Ryan wrote: ‘We’ve been with Wrexham for what seems like the blink of an eye, but so much has happened.
‘I remember the first press conference, we were asked what our goals were… and I think Rob jumped in with, “The Premiere League.” People laughed.
‘They had every right to. It seemed insane… But we weren’t kidding.
‘I feel at home here. It’s a place that values community, decency and history. From the respect it pays to the Gresford Disaster, to the feeling of hope and miracles created by Mickey Thomas.
‘These are big reasons Wrexham is growing into what it always was. It isn’t just a place with a history of ups and downs, it’s also a FEELING. And a feeling is sometimes as good or better than a memory.’
He continued: ‘We made history. We’ve been promoted for a record third time in a row. That doesn’t happen without the wisdom of Phil Parkinson and his coaching staff, or the talent of Paul Mullin.
‘It doesn’t happen without Max Cleworth and Arthur Okonkwo. Or Mark Howard who may have one of the hardest jobs there is. I watched Sam Smith create a frightening blend between football and martial arts, scoring our second goal yesterday.
‘The Stadium feels like a church. I know so many of you now. Since February, 2021, I’ve watched babies become regulars. And some regulars depart us for good. We’ve had the honour to scatter ashes of loved ones across that field. I’ve even watched every available hand shovel snow off the pitch to keep a match from cancellation.’

Their latest loved-up outing together comes after the Gossip Girl star was hit by widespread backlash for her speech at the Time100 Gala on Thursday night.
Ryan accompanied his wife to Thursday’s event held at Jazz at the Lincoln Center in New York City, where she was honoured as one of the magazine’s most influential people of the year.
In her speech, Blake alluded to her legal war with former co-star Justin Baldoni while revealing her mother’s past assault by a ‘work acquaintance.’
‘I have so much to say about the last two years of my life, but tonight is not the forum,’ she said, hinting at her ongoing bitter court battle with Baldoni, whom she accused of sexual harassment, which he denied.
Instead, she decided to speak about ‘the feeling of being a woman who has a voice today.’
Blake shared that her life was ‘influenced most’ by her mother, Willie Elaine McAlpin, who was the ‘survivor of the worst crime someone can commit against a woman.’
She said: ‘My mom never got justice from her work acquaintance who attempted to take her life when she was the mother of three young kids years before I was born’,
Blake stated that her mother credited a woman who shared a ‘similar circumstance’ on the radio with saving her life.

‘The woman painfully and graphically shared how she escaped. And because of hearing that woman speak about her experience instead of shutting down in fear and unfair shame, my mom is alive today. She was saved by a woman whose name she’ll never know.’
She then called womanhood a ‘pact that privately we must show others how to survive, literally or spiritually.’
‘We don’t let our daughters know, but one day we break their hearts by letting them in on the secret that we kept from them as they pranced around in princess dresses that they are not and will likely never be safe at work, at home, in a parking lot in a medical office, online — in any space they inhabit physically, emotionally, professionally.’
Blake called the ‘superpower of female triumph’ a ‘basic human right,’ and added, ‘Never underestimate a woman’s ability to endure pain.’
While she also paid tribute to Ryan, as she thanked ‘every man, including my sweet husband, who are kind and good when no one is watching.’
But viewers were left unimpressed by the speech, taking to social media to blast Blake for sharing her mother’s trauma as an ‘obvious PR move’ amid her ongoing feud with Baldoni.
Many fans criticized the star for using her mother’s ordeal in the speech, after remaining silent on domestic violence while promoting It Ends With Us — directed by and co-starring Baldoni — which portrayed an abusive relationship.
‘Oh so now she is using her Mother’s SA to be likable??? But in August she didn’t mention DV when promoting a movie about DV. Interesting…’ one person wrote.

‘Blake Lively used her Time100 speech to reveal her mother is a rape survivor—an obvious PR move to align with SA victims. Yet, with that personal connection to trauma, she still couldn’t figure out how to market a movie about DV? What’s next for her, a Peace Nobel Prize?’ another added.
‘Why wasn’t she having these speeches when she was promoting the movie?? Instead she was promoting alcohol and naming drinks after the characters. don’t understand why they keep giving her a platform.’
‘My mom is a victim so I know suffering too? What is the point in telling mom’s story?’ another person questioned.
Elsewhere in her speech, Blake discussed being an honouree ‘in a time where the most valuable currency seems to be anger, it feels like an act of defiance to commune and celebrate all the good that is alive in the world.’
As for being called influential, she said: ‘How we use that matters. Who and what we stand up for, and what we stay silent about, what we monetize versus what we actually live, matters.’
